Transgender surgery is not something that is going to save your life or help your overall health
As is it's a pain in the ass to get the government to fund things that are actually important so I don't see why taxpayer money should be going into people getting a sex change when public schools are constantly underfunded and child protective services needs a total revamp which is going to be rather costly

And since the military is funded by the government if the military is funding a sex change then that means the government is also funding a sex change instead of revamping the CPS or actually making sure that public schools have enough money or giving more money to the public safety commission so that way they can keep an eye on dilapidated housing and ensuring that people's homes are up to safety standards

There's a lot more things that are important out there than a sex change that aren't getting funded or aren't getting enough funding from the United States that need a lot more funding from the United States and hey sex change is pretty close to the very bottom of the list of things that the government should be funding because well there's underfunded fire departments underfunded police departments underfunded hospitals underfunded prisons underfunded schools not a lot of funding is going into public parks for children and quite a few areas and things like that and because of the lack of funding to a lot of these things people are dying

Yeah I'll put this in simple terms: someone who is going through Gender Dysphoria shouldn't be serving in the military, period. That goes far beyond what types of mental issues the military is willing to put up with at the time of enlistment as far lesser cases are turned down without question, and if the leftwing narrative is to be taken at its word, those people were born in the wrong body and didn't develop it at a later date, nor would it be the result of job-related trauma. IF the solider could prove that last point otherwise, then the case could at least be made.

Also, putting the single most suicide-prone demographic in the world into combat is an absurdly stupid move, both for them and other soldiers.

I dont think the government should be laying out money for such an expensive surgery. I believe the healthcare should cover costs related to them being transgender; but not so far as paying for the surgery. I thought it was messed up what trump did when he banned transgender people from serving in the military. That was disgusting to do, although I am republican.

I personally don't think the military should be paying for transgender surgery. If you want surgery for a sex change it should come out of your own pocket.

In other words, WE have to pay for it!! We pay taxes, some of which goes to the military. They use that money to supply sex change operations to people that signed up JUST to GET a free sex change!
WE pay about a million dollars to illegals that have no business being here in the first place!
WE pay for kids to go to college for free!
WE pay for medical costs to those same illegals when WE can't get much of ANY of our own medical bills paid!!
WE can't get jobs, anymore!
WE pay through the fucking nose for shit that was half way to being free 2 years ago!
Where the fuck are WE supposed to be getting all this money?

It's almost like people who went through military service get healthcare benefits. Let's be honest people getting transition healthcare is a drop in the bucket compared to even erectile dysfunction medications.

It's making a mountain out of a mole hill. That robs military service members of there benefits, of self, and pursuit of happiness in civilian life.

Well, that's something I definitely do not agree with. I don't have an issue with transgenders fighting for what they believe are their rights. But tax dollars should not be spent on cosmetic surgery.
