Should Cain Velasquez be found not guilty due to temporary insanity?

If you don't know he is or aren't aware of the case... Cain was a professional mma fighter, was ufc heavyweight champ and did some pro wrestling. Cain found out that the adult son of the people who owned the day care Cain's kids went to, had molested his son some 40 times. Cain calls the police and has him arrested, the judge let's the guy go without bail, while he awaits trial. Cain can't believe it and is enraged so he go's over to the perp's house to kick his ass but caught them as they were leaving their house and ended up chasing them in his vehicle. Cain ends up shooting at their truck in the middle of nowhere but hits the stepfather who survived ok. This all took place about 3 days after Cain 1st finding out about the sexual abuse, do you feel Cain should be punished harshly or do you feel that temporary insanity is a legit excuse?
