I’m gonna go in depth with this one by comparing it to other cases.
Starting with the Chauvin case. I agree with that verdict, why? Because the man was incompetent and had total disregard for Floyd’s mentioning of not being able to breath. People have said “ok but he was using a restraining tactic” true. He was HOWEVER, that tactic is only applicable when you are the only officer on scene apprehending that individual. Alongside Chauvin there were 3 other officers on top of him. And they had him cuffed, so really; he had absolutely no reason to remain on the man’s neck. That being said he went to prison and justice in that case was served.
The Aurbery case, three white civilians chased down a black man running in a neighborhood. Ok… “there were reported robberies in recent times”
Yes but he was seen in a house under construction… wtf is he gonna steal? A hammer? Come on, be real.
Anyways, they chase him down and instead of being civil they point the guns at him. When he was not armed himself. And not to mention they were in a vehicle which they could have also used that against him in a lethal way. And there were three of them and one of him… so. Yeah. All three of those guys are stupid af and could have handled the situation better without firing a single shot.
Now for the Rittenhouse case… the biggest counter argument I’ve seen people use against the points I’ve made is “he had no reason to be there” which yeah, I agree. HOWEVER, the people who end their argument to the case with that point fail to realize WHY people like Kyle showed up with the plan they had.. they had the intentions of protecting the businesses that the rioters were burning down and looting from (which I should add the COPS where not stopping any of that thanks to the “defund the police” agenda, hence why these kind of people showed up)
Was Kyle running after the protestors and rioters with his rifle drawn at them and shooting into crowds like we see a mass shooter do? Nope. In fact we saw the opposite, we saw groups of people charge at HIM and even hear in the video evidence of people yelling “get his ass” sooo… if you ask anyone with common sense. That’s clearly a self defense situation. He attempted to run away from them, and when they surrounded him after he fell to the floor. He felt his life was in danger due to them beginning to physically hit him, one person doing so with a skateboard (which can most certainly kill someone if they hit the person in the right place on the head)
He was found not guilty because he had a legitimate case of self defense
Well when you put it this way
This is what I have been telling everyone on all my social media. Try to bestow some sense of reasoning
It makes sense somehow
you have a special talent for common sense, well done.
I HAVE WATCHED THE FULL VIDEO.
I listen to all of these news pundits and celebs and people on here just go on and on about how this is an "injustice" and a "they knew he'd get acquitted", and "he's a murderer" and I'm like..."what planet are these people on".
Did anyone actually WATCH the video? I've also read lots of politically motivated news sites have been lying the entire time saying he fired like 60 shots... the gun was illegal and such... saying it was clear murder. Are people only listening to their favorite news site or their favorite celeb and going TOTALLY off of what they are saying? Otherwise how can anything think some white supremacist is just going around "murdering" people and "getting off due to corrupt system"? The corruption is him being charged with murder and the lies many news sites are spouting.
Just like that cop a few years back who shot and killed some man running away... maybe 15-20 feet away and killed him and then claimed the guy got his weapon from him and came at him... but some neighbor filmed the entire incident showing it was a lie and he killed him in cold blood. YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE VIDEO. The video shows what occurred.
The video CLEARLY SHOWS Rittenhouse running down the street with 5 or 6 people flying at him in waves from different directions. He is finally knocked down. Some guy (who didn't get shot) does a flying kick at him while down on the ground. Several others go after him while down on the ground. One tries to grab the gun out of his hand. A blown up photo of one of the guys is CLEARLY SHOWS he has a hand gun himself.
Rittenhouse then shoots 3 or 4 times at all of the people going at him. Another guy, who WAS GOING AFTER HIM, but sees everyone else get shot stops holds his hands up and backs off. Rittenhouse does not shoot at him and then he gets up off the ground and runs off.
The video clearly shows several attackers going after him and knocking him down and going after him on the ground.
Anyone that thinks this is some travesty of justice just didn't bother watching the video and is just going off the lying media and celebs... or they are fools.
It was the correct verdict.
Do I think he should have been there? No. Do I think his mom should have transported him across state lines to attend the riot? No.
Does any of that matter? No.
What matters is that he was justified in using deadly force to protect himself in a situation where he believed his life was being threatened.
Everyone gets so caught up in their feelings but we need to realize that the trial was specifically about whether or not he was justified in using a firearm to defend himself.
That's why Chauvin was found guilty. In the second that Mr. Floyd died, Chauvin had no legitimate reason to be on his neck like that.
That's why the two APD officers involved in Rayshard Brookes death were acquitted. It didn't matter that Brookes was respectful for an hour before he was shot. The second he became combative when they tried to arrest him, all of that went out the window. It. Doesn't. Matter. What mattered was that now he was fighting and he disarmed one of the officers of his taser. What matters was that he deployed the taser at the officers. By law, according to the use of force continuum, a police officer may use a firearm against a taser.
That's why the men involved in the Arbury case were found guilty. Because the fact of the case was that they went after Arbury like they were on a hog hunt and shot him from the bed of a pickup truck. There was debate whether Arbury had stolen tools or not - it doesn't matter. At the time of his death, he was jogging/running and he was shot for it.
So yeah, the Rittenhouse verdict was the correct one.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
I couldn't have said it any better. 😎
Well said
I have no idea about the trial because I didn’t watch it however people said that it was self defence and in that case I say it was a fair decision.
HOWEVER the people getting sensitive over it are just hypothesising what would have happened if the race of this boy had been Black or Asian. They are assuming the verdict would have been different. That he would not have been cleared of wrongdoing if he weren’t White and that the only reason he was cleared is due to Whote supremacy.
Of course this is all conjecture and what people think would have been the case and because it is opinions that may be tied to previous racist incidences it is difficult to prove but people are talking purely out of emotion.

correct decision in this case. But I would not have anyone else attempt to repeat this. Sadly, it may be an escalation point unless there is dialog. Listen to his spokes person... spot on... Most people are not as level headed as this kid.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/DcVw5QljNCEI'll closely watch the left and left media to see how this affects their thinking and behavior. Their perception of this is different. Hear the voices that call this racism (mindboggling to some, clear as day to them) and those who believe you cannot provocate a situation and claim self defense (e. g. having a gun and protecting a spaceto them is provocation). this is the voice of people who are losing in life and frustrated.
The voices in regards to Jacob Blake have not been heard... e. g. unloading of rounds into people, nor does that side understand the Police viewpoint of why they do that.
I hope this was not the first battle of a new civil war.
This discourse is far from over and escalation in these situations is probable. Gauge G. could have shot first, so could the entire crowd of people... if they were armed, based upon their viewpoint. if the left sees it's "guns rights" opportunity and flips the script and begins arming itself in "peaceful" protests and riots... oh hell. Watch gun sales, firing ranges for increases of activity and hope they don't.
Cities with dense populations cannot have this behavior or they have a mess greater than the mess they have already. Protesting with full camo and ammo... on the streets of NYC? Govts can't do that... thus Bill De Blazios perspective on this. He's wrong in my view, but this is the issue.
Listen to the man above and reach across the divice, or we may end up like my family who killed each other on the battlefields of 1850's... and to this day, don't talk.
They have paved the way for those who oppose protesters to kill them. There was so much wrong with that trial it would turn into a novel. It was premeditated murder, plain and simple. If key facts that was blocked by the judge, they would have had no choice but to find him guilty.
For those still trying to make the argument that it was self defense here are just a few points of rebuttal. #1 he had no business being there period. #2 he even stated that he didn't feel that he needed to protect himself. #3 he was in possession of an illegal firearm. It doesn't matter if he traveled across state lines with it or not. #4 the person who bought it for him is now being charged as so should his mother. #5 videos and photos prior and after should have been made to the jury.
For those saying that he killed a pedophile. Several problems with that. #1 how did he know that he was a pedophile? #2 what happened to his day in court? #3 this isn't the wild west nor are people anointed Judge Dredd. #4 there are laws that supposed to prevent this. Yet this judge and jury proved otherwise.
Now that being said since they have paved the way for those who oppose protesters to actively kill others it works both ways. The thing about target practice is targets don't shoot back. As police found out when shooting at people from an unmarked van.
Personally since there was no justice those families should financially ruin his family. The judge needs to be disbarred, impeached and have every case gone back over. Judges are not a part of the defense or should be interjecting themselves period.
Actually my opinion is probably going to piss off everybody on both sides because I believe he should of been charged with something not murder or even manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter the tricky thing is what should he of been charged that wouldn’t lead to a murder or involuntary manslaughter charge. I believe anyone one the planet would defend themselves if put in the same situation and that we as citizens have the right to defend other citizens so how can I say he’s guilty of any violence but I would think that by law he would of been charged with bringing a firearm across state lines if that’s what he did and of course it would have to be proven I would say reckless endangerment but that my lead to the involuntary manslaughter so I believe he should of received a small sentence maybe even a suspended sentence if he had no criminal history something like a 2 year joint suspended with at least 2 year’s probation to be honest though I didn’t follow the case good enough to make a solid decision but I do feel like everyone has the right to their own beliefs and opinions as long as they are hurting anyone and should all be able to act grown even if we don’t agree we should be able to agree to disagree and leave it at that I don’t think anyone on either side of this issue is a bad person at least not because of where they stand on this issue alone
I applied for my license to carry. This just fueled a fire that has already been raging across this country. It's not a matter of if things will get worse because of this, it's a matter of when. And I need to be able to protect me and mine because it's clear that we're on our own.
The Jury's verdict is inexcusable.
The Prosecutor at the minimum should have brought prosecution for Federal Firearms Violations for purchase & overt possession of a long arm by someone under the age of 18 years old. Someone's ass is getting kissed! Had he been black they'd have lynched him.
It my understanding that the FEDERAL DOJ is being tasked to review all aspects including the competency of BOTH the Prosecutor AND the presiding Judge.
Frankly, I'm surprised the aggrieved families and right-minded citizenry haven't rioted or some Vigilante of their own, hasn't sniped Rittenhouse eye-for-an-eye "just defending themself".
I see the good and the bad of this its good that he isn't jail as it now cout proof of how powerful the argument of self defense is and it opens most courts up to having to be fair to everyone if they claim self defense. However this could end up biting the court system in the rear as well. As it gives anyone who has a weapon to argue self defense and win. The true irony of this verdict is that its two pluses and one major loss which is the conviction system. Which is the ultimate loser in this situation. It opens up a gaping hole when it comes to violent crimes. in my opinion. Its one more step closer to the court system being backed into a corner they shouldn't be in to begin with.
It’s a disgrace but I’m not surprised. Our justice system is so messed up.
The kid brought a rifle to a non deadly protest and made it deadly for others. His rifle was pointed at others in several instances in the video and he didn’t demonstrate gun safety very well while this weapon is doing around his shoulders while in a giant crowd of pissed off people.
He can’t call self defense when he was the initial aggressor to begin with and not expect to be chased down when he has put others in danger by having his weapon pointed at others. He killed two and wounded a third. Nobody was killed until HE WAS THERE.
It’s bullshit but again I’m not surprised and points out that this justice system needs a serious reform. I’m counting on the younger generation of politicians to be pissed off on instances like this for changing the system and taking old white baby boomers from Jim Crow to be dead and long gone.
1. I think very little about it, because I didn't hear all the testimony and see all the evidence, and this doesn't touch my personal life. The media wants us to be consumed thinking about this but the MSM can go fuck itself.
2. The State is not responsible for the cost of the defense unless the defendant is indigent. Also, remember that an acquittal does not mean that the jury thought a defendant was actually innocent; it merely means that the evidence was not so overwhelming that guilt was the ONLY reasoable conclusion.
100% appalling, 0% surprising. Sadly, the far right was using the case as a proxy to determine whether or not it is okay to get mad and murder people in the protection of stuff. This is a primative/tribal mentality that shows a severe lack of trust in civilization's ability to provide for its citizens. Unfortunately the ability for civilization to provide for its citizens is catalized by the people's trust in civilization. So it's kind of a self-fulfilling mistrust. But the far right doesn't seem to care about being the cause of civilization not working so long as the get to be right about it not working..
You truly are dumb! It was the left wing nut jobs along with the left wing media that put Kenosha in that situation. They lied from the minute Jacob Blake was shot and continue to lie to this very second. It was YOUR side that wanted anarchy across US. cities. It was YOUR side that had authorities stand by while people's lives went up in smoke. And when one of your precious racist repeat child molesters gets killed suddenly it's a problem? You people have lost all touch with reality! I've always heard liberalism is a mental disorder.
Brilliant! How many people did it take to come up with that reply?
No, I don't think that. I think you have no clue what the fuck you are talking about.
You mean how far right misinfotainment has "edgy wisecracked" its listers into believing there is a such thing as anti-white brainwashing in the liberal media. Which wouldn't even be a problem if far right misinfotainment didn't dominate the media. Or if at least if the liberal media lived up to that name instead of trying to be impartial all the time. All impartiality gets you is called biased by both sides..
I think Millions more should carry, and we need more young men and women like him.
The cops wouldn't do nothing,
I lived in Wisconsin my whole life and I seen where cops put a stop to riots.
Case in point. When Jeffrey Dahmer was eatting people. Riots broke out then and the cops ended it real fast. That was in 1991
This time in 2020, the cops did nothing but blocked of interstate I94. They just stood there and let them destory homes and businesses
So that kid is hero in my book. Just think how much worse would it would it could have been. What if it was your moms house or grandpas repair shop being burned down.
You just think about that
Footnote
Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster, was an American serial killer and sex offender who committed the murder and dismemberment of 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.
I am jazzed he is not guilty!
BLM and Antifa need to be stopped.
and 3 losers attacked him first... they got what they deserved... all three have criminal records, including the raper of young boys!!!
^ I agree with this 100%
it is sad how very few people even know those details.
I have even met people who thought the victims were black
@PeterQuillsAlive I live in Wisconsin and the people I know that live in Kenosha. They are very proud of that boy
@humanearth as they should be. :)
I was impressed with he handled himself in that situation. It must have been terrifying.. and he showed an immense amount of restraint.
Lol what a bunch of crazy damn clowns
@Aphrodite801 Antifa and those bunch?
agreed
I dont disagree that losers should get whats coming to them. But by this logic, i can go picking for fights in a mafia ridden alleyway, take out a few bosses with my AR in self defense. Does that make my actions commendable?
@mobiusforniner The issue is the assumption Rittenhouse was picking a fight.
If anything (if you viewed the footage), he was attempting to avoid one.
@PeterQuillsAlive dude bringing an AR to a known conflict where there are gonna be crazies who are likely to lose it and attack you... its a place he shouldn't have been in the first place.
Everyone I just wanted to say they are supporting the woman ABUSER Kyle with open arms. Disgusting
@mobiusforniner We can argue about rather or not he should have been there.
None the less, the fight was not instigated by him.
@Aphrodite801 Oh yes! you mean unproven claims?
That is how low you have to go?
Admittedly I don't have all the facts on what transpired but from my understanding the verdict was correct. I'm glad Mr. Rittenhouse gets to live his life now.
I know a lot of liberals and Democrats are not happy and will be hitting the streets in force to protest. And as we've seen, when the left "protests" they attack people who have nothing to do with it. They burn gas stations and smash store fronts and destroy their own communities. I live in Wisconsin and have been to Kenosha and Milwaukee hundreds of times. They are not nice towns. So believe me, I'm keeping my weapon ready. I hope I'll never have to use it, but I won't be unprepared If I do.
Objectively speaking, it was the correct verdict.
As for the state being required to pay his defense costs, I believe it should, as the facts of the case were clear, yet the prosecution pursued charges anyway, mainly because of a small group of leftists.
For the people who think the people who were shot were innocent victims, you do realize all three are convicted felons?
I own a lot of weapons. My mantra is, a smart gun owner uses their smart judgment to avoid situations which require the use of their smart skills. I can pack my handgun but I dont go hanging around the gang slums at 1am looking for a fight. I dont bring my AR15 into a homeless encampment and then feel surprised to shoot someone in self defense. Its one thing to be prepared to defend yourself. Its another thing to jump into a fight knowing you'll likely use your weapon
he acted in self defense the media somehow forgets how while being charged by Rosenbaum he (Rosenbaum) told Rittenhouse i am going to kill you more then once, none are innocent victims. is it sad that life was lost, yes but everyone made their choices. the media, these big mouth celebrities should really shut up, these celebrities that mostly do nothing for society. is our world so f*cked up that, people really care what Khloe Kardashians opinion is?
Truth is, the only "crime" he committed was to go against a BLM riot, and be white.
That's why everyone was against him. One of those "evil whitey" dared to oppose the Saint BLM Inquisition and that was unforgivable.
And for him to be declared innocent means they really had nothing against him, otherwise they would have crucified him.
But it's just the beginning. The BLM zealots and other insane leftists will now try to ruin his life in every way they can. They will dox him, harass him, harass any workplace he will be, harass his family, and I'm certain at least one will try to physically attack him, if not more.
Those people, who were seen openly bragging, in front of the courthouse, to be here to intimidate the jury, they're capable of everything.
I wonder if he had been brown or black. If any of the people who agreed with the verdict would say that. Just wondering.
Because I am wonder if a black man who killed the white man. Who raped his daughter would hav gotten away with it. If he cried on the stand.
Or a brown woman who killed a whit woman for killing her kid’s. I guarantee people who agreed with this verdict wouldn’t be saying they it was right. If these people got off. They would say the system is against the white people. And you know it’s true.
He definitely did kill those people in self defense as you can see in the clips. I do not think his intent was to kill, since he went there to act as an EMT hence why he brought first aid kits.
Although, whether he should've brought a rifle is questionable. Anyway, he does not deserve the life sentence penalty.
I was elated when I heard the news. The city tried to crucify the kid. He's been through hell and has now been completely vindicated.
I think the state should be responsible for his legal costs in light of their 100% political motivation in going after him in the first place.
I also understand that he has a legal team lined up to sue Facebook and mainstream media outlets for defamation. I hope they go after Biden, too.
I can see it leading to a change in the law to better clarify what is or is not self defence. Yes at the exact moment it was self defence but that doesn't change the fact he went there hoping to shoot someone
That is actually a really fair and common sense approach. I wish more people would think along those lines instead of completely losing their minds just to remain loyal to their "side."
"that doesn't change the fact he went there hoping to shoot someone"
Literally nothing points to that, so no, that's not a fact.
Guys don’t argue with Eliza the MAN he’ll just insult you lol
Good deal. Jury had All of their Proof in the Pudding. When he Sues Everyone in Sight, He will be Compensated, And part of the Agreement with his lawyers, Will be for The Ste to pay and then Some. xx
I drink Earl Gray tea with lime juice and enjoy mental gymnastics of people who have some problems with this verdict
you are completely right
It is what it is. The justice system isn't perfect because people are imperfect. Also what is justice to one person isn't going to be for everyone. It makes me feel really old saying that. But that does not change how I feel. It it is what it is and people need to move past it.
It should never have been in doubt. What bothers me, is all the rioters not charged with anything. Or the mayor of Kenosha and governor of Wisconsin, whose malfeasance should have gotten them tarred and feathered by now, at minimum!
Still, I know of some reeing NPCs on this site that are suddenly very quiet. And that does bring a smile to my face.
It was the correct ruling. Truthfully the prosecution never had any semblance of a real case and they just did whatever they could to fulfil their job requirements.
Not for nothing, but honestly even outside of a self defense scenario I'd find it difficult to justify punishing someone for removing a child rapist from the world.
People that watched the trial know it was the right decision.
What idiots have this post a thumbs down?
Facts is facts. The proper verdict was rendered.
I wasn't surprised by it, I knew it would happen. I definitely think he should've gotten locked up and he was looking for trouble that night. None of the people arguing that he was "defending himself" or saying "he did nothing wrong" would be saying that at all if he were black. They would definitely think the gun thing is a big deal if it were the other way around.
To be honest, this is clearly the right call.
Anyone who has taken a look at the footage, or even attempted to follow the case a little bit would see it as self defense.
On top of this, even the prosecution threw out the "illegal firearm" claim.
Silly to me the people incapable of putting themselves in the shoes of others or thinking in terms of "if this were my son/brother/friend, what would I think?"
People are in their feelings rather than looking at the facts. That's why people are making racial comparisons. "If he were black..." he's not so it's irrelevant
Only in the US can you run into trouble with an AR15 as a 17 year old, invariably shoot people, and then claim self defense.
Self defence would be a credible claim if he was actively trying to get away from trouble, and didn't go there in the first place. Protecting some stores isn't self defense.
He was putting out fires, offering first aid, and then he sprinted towards police as soon as they started trying to kill him.
Have a you seen all the videos and done research? I generally agree with everything you post on here.
Incidentally, I'm not saying that technically it wasn't self defense.
My argument was that 17 year old boys shouldn't be allowed to go into a pressure cooker situation with an AR15, and then claim self defense. If I went down to 'the hood' to try and tackle gang violence, while being armed to the tits, then you can bet some shit is going to go down. I wouldn't claim fucking self defense. A self defense situation is one that you didn't purposely walk into, and one that you didn't want to be there from the start. However, that's just my opinion rather than meeting some legal definition. So yes, a veritable Jesus.
@ElizaPam Eh, I generally expect better quality posts from you than that.
Americans seem to have a inimitable and unsurpassed way of being uncouth for no good reason.
I haven't read into this case enough, however my opinion based off what I do know is that I think it was the right verdict. Only because there's obviously evidence we haven't seen, that the jurors have. They, or most, thought he was innocent based off the evidence and everything that went on in court.
We saw all all the evidence that the jurors did. It was all broadcast live.
It was the right decision. People who think otherwise weren’t following the case objectively. Those people listen to the fake news which will soon be sued for millions just like Sandman sued them for defamation of character. The state should pay for the lawyers as this case never should have went to trial.

You’re telling me I can go and murder anyone I want and get away with it if I just shed some fake tears 🤣aight..
Nope but if a crowd of insane assholes try and burn your house down then its hunting season
Yes I watched the whole trial did yiu?
Murderers don't try running away from an altercation for several blocks. One of the 'victims' hit him with a skateboard the other (pedophile) chased him for several blocks, and that's after the pedo told him he was gonna kill him if they were ever alone and the pedos whole ''Shoot me nigga shoot me'' shit. The point of this is, yeah, self defense is possible and legal. And did you watch the footage of the incident and the trial itself or did you just read the headlines and check out a couple of bullshit out of context youtube videos?
They weren't protesters, they were rioters. They weren't unarmed, Rosenbaum had possession of the rifle, which alone is justification to be neutralized, on top of him threatening Kyle earlier that evening, and Huber attacked Kyle with a skateboard. Blunt trauma can kill someone. PUNCHING (or kicking) someone can kill them. Hence why Kyle shooting at Jump Kick Man was justified. And I love how you didn't even bring up Gaige because you can't even deny that he was armed.
Oh, by the way, did you see that response about the video you promised me? I had to break it up into three comments in order to debunk your bullshit, with a fourth where I even corrected myself.
None of them were considered unarmed when they were shot.
But you don't need to be armed in order to be a life-threatening anyway and nowhere in self-defense law does it say they need to be armed in order for you to be covered by self-defense. Watch the trial, don't listen to garbage media which doesn't know what they're talking about.
"Did you even read the reports on the incident and how he shot two UNARMED protestors?"
I doubt that you even looked it up and did proper research yourself. I'm pretty sure that you just read a few articles from biased web-sites. Anyone with a rational mind can see that this was self-defense 1/1. What is mostly shocking about people like you is that most of you even know the facts, but you deny them cause Kyle is more leaning to the right then he is to the left. People from the left are ready to stand and defend legit pedophiles and abusers and make them look like they are the victims just if it means that someone from the right gets locked up. You might be only 15, but let me tell you this... If you continue this path you will only grow into a useless adult that is incapable of thinking critically. You're just echoing the opinions of those around you instead of actually looking up the truth.
@doopayo
No offense but this comment shows how little you understand this case.
As many have stated above...
Rittenhouse was very clearly defending himself to anyone who has actually taken the time to watch the footage, or even give a cursory glance to the case.
I won't go into the details for others have already done it in this post..
However, what I will say is the reality of what this represents, and why we should be worried.
This case should be a lesson to many of the great failure of our news media, and how it simply can't be trusted. Though I was never a supporter of Trump.. I do believe he was correct when he said "Fake News"
In the case of Rittenhouse, it is clear the media desired to create more hysteria (in particular racial tension) for the views and $$ (and perhaps even political clot).
The amount of false report, and hidden evidence is absolutely disturbing
I first recognized the reality of the Rittenhouse case early on.. largely due to the fact full footage was easily accessible. HOWEVER! The major media outlets had no interest in covering this because it clearly went against the narrative...
Sadly this is very common
Be it Police incidents, or "Karen" incidents, or even general racial violence
in many cases the Media narratives are contrary to the reality of the situation.
The fact is the media cares little about truth
They love to throw gasoline in the fire though
and in many cases I believe its central to many of our problems today.
Its no wonder why in an era of ease of access to information
we seem more ignorant than ever
Lets put a gun in your hands and put you in the middle of riot. You shot and kill people in self defence
In your eyes your not aloud to defend yourself, but I bet if you were there and in his shoes. You rather lay on the ground.
I call bs, when your scared your going die and fight back.
I hope if it happens to you, you dont end up in jail for life
@Otakugeek You are 100% correct
It is insane how many people are completely misinformed about this case.
You got the fucktards mad lol
You know it’s not the rittenhouse trial itself that got me stay on top of all of this. It is HOW some people (mostly on the left) REACT to it that is telling and scary about our country. Many liberals didn’t even know the guys he shot were white. They just keep yelling “racist” like a bunch of lunatic morons.
If the roles were reversed and some antifa shot 3 right-wingers who attacked him, this would've been a nothing burger. Media and politicians just maneuvered themselves into a dead-end by a clearcut case. And it was clear cut to everyone who watched the videos that were released right after.
Now all these people hopefully get sued for libel.
This was the correct verdict. The 3 "victims" could have easily avoided being shot if they left Rittenhouse alone. That was on them. That being said, Kyle should not have been there in the first place. Hopefully he learns his lesson and leaves protecting property to the professionals in the future.
Leave the poor guy alone
He’s brave after getting hit in the with a damn skateboard and almost got shot in the head he was trying to the police to turn himself in
He’s gonna be fucked with and possibly hunted for the rest of his life “Otaku”.
if you know what self defense law is he's not guilty i watched hours of the trial... don't be fooled by the media they lie and lie and lie.
He was attacked, not doing the attacking. Good for him. The 2 guys he killed were pieces of shit anyways, he did the world a favor. One was a pedophile and the other tried to strangle this own brother. They attacked a guy with a gun. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Well once again it makes me happy I live in Canada. Maybe protesters should carry AR15s too? Then it can be a gunfight at the OK Corral vigilantes vs protestors!
He actually fired in self defense.
If you watched the videos (or followed the case) you would know that..
To be honest I was impressed with how he handled the entire situation.
@PeterQuillsAlive He provoked the crowd. Simply by the act of playing Rambo in the middle of a volitile situation. Why carry a AR 15 in the first place unless he knew what could happen?
I think if you want to take it down this road, then you are going to very quickly accept that the Rioters were dangerous and instigators of this conflict.
Rittenhouse was in his right to carry.. Just as were the 2 men (at least that is known) who were concealed carrying (including Grosskreutz).
The difference is WHO instigated the fight, WHO was threatening the other side.. etc
Rittenhouse was not instigating, or making threats
Instead, we see this clearly being pursued by the other side
^ though ill make a correction
Grosskreutz was actually illegally carrying
He did not have a valid conceal permit
"Why carry a AR 15 in the first place unless he knew what could happen?"
The same reason anyone carries a gun: for self-defense. Carrying a gun is in no way provocation unless you're insane. Many people where carrying guns and walking around with them for hours and it didn't "provoke" anyone. It's a ridiculous argument.
@northerngal they weren’t “protesting” in Kenosha. That was fucking rioting.
WHY carry the gun!! You do realize these protesters your talking about had just spent the last day or two burning out Kenosha businesses, burning car lots full of cars, breaking into businesses and stealing merchandise, those the protesters we are talking about?
Do *you* realize just described a bunch of good reasons for carrying a gun. That’s why.
There should never have been a trail.
Rittenhouse helped to thin the herd that day of a child rapist and a crazy person guilty of domestic violence.
The third idiot who survived the shooting was the best defense witness ever. He admited he pointed his own gun at Rittenhouse.
A victory for the right to self defense. I think any entity that lied about Kyle before they had any facts, such as all the Mainstream Media networks (except for probably Fox), the state, and at the time the Farmer Vic President Joe Biden, all need sued for slander.
I'm not surprised about him being found not guilty for defending himself as he showed Great Restraint despite the dummies continuing to assault him. However, I was expecting him to be found guilty of being there with his weapon since legally he wasn't supposed to be there.
I'm not even happy. I'm just relieved. If he had been convicted, self-defense was de facto dead.
Clear cut case of self defense. The kid is one hell of a sharp shooter too.
Eh... you can either have cops keep someone from burning down your home/business or you can have random citizens do it. If you defund the cops, it's definitely going to be random citizens. Your choice. Either way is fine with me.
Maybe it will open the eyes of idiots. Don't start fights and don't attack and armed person. I think we need to introduce people to Darwinism at a young age
The jury was brave doing the right thing knowing that BLM might murder them. Those thugs attacked Rittenhouse and that 1 guy open fire on him first. If you play stupid games you win stupid prizes.
In their wisdom the Fathers gave us the second amendment to protect our state from thugs like the ones he dealt with. I hope this is a lesson for all of them at home and abroad.
100% correct not guilty on all charges, it never should have been a murder trial. Any well read decent person knows that. All others better go get their heads examined. But saying that its still a win win for WOKE culture cuz even though they didn't get their way they will cry whine and riot regardless along with media support to advertise all the lies and falsehoods. DO they not understand they are ruining their own culture with no end game. Stupid fucks
i’m not bias so I will watch this trail soon but one guy was trying to stop him once he heard he killed somebody and then he killed him. I doubt the first guy he killed had a gun at all so killing the first guy was a bit odd since he’s the one who can do the most harm with a big gun.
The only thing odd about it was why would you charge down a guy with a gun? The answer was probably that he was suicidal given his recent suicide attempts at the time.
@AllThatSweetJazz actually Joseph Rosenbaum was crazy and suicidal. He attempted to kill hímself a few weeks prior to the Rittenhouse incidents. And I’ll say it once and I’ll said it again Joseph Rosenbaum was a convicted pedophile.
Now as low as his background is that doesn’t mean its okay for someone to randomly shoot him. But he is NOT heroic. He was NOT minding his own business. He did NOT belong in Kenosha and last but not least he is NOT a fucking “hero” just because he was rioting on behalf of BLM.
I am so fucking sick of the left trying to garner sympathy for the 3 men Rittenhouse shot. Like those guys were noble since they were rioting for BLM but Rittenhouse was the bad guy just because was minor and went to protect business. Was that idealistic and foolish of him? Absolutely. But comparing Rittenhouse side by side to these other oxygen wasting POS’s should make situations clear to anyone who has more than 3 brain cells. But many liberals unfortunately don’t have that kind of brain capacity.
We can ask why he would go up to someone with a big gun because I would leave it to the cops obviously & if he just heard that the guy killed someone who didn’t have a big gun like him or gun at all.. but I feel like kyle had problems & felt knew that things were chaotic and he had a legal gun so this was his chance to use it some people are very passionate about their political views for example the rioters of blm and trump supporters who stormed the white house. It just doesn’t make since wouldn’t you leave the job to officers instead of being the only man voicing a different opinion in the BLM protest.. lol it’s just seem so odd.
“We can ask why he would go up to someone with a big gun because I would leave it to the cops obviously & if he just heard that the guy killed someone who didn’t have a big gun like him or gun at all..”
All of that speaks to the crowd not being afraid of Kyle. They just decided to hurt him because people were shouting to hurt him, they didn’t have a good reason.
“but I feel like kyle had problems & felt knew that things were chaotic”
He is a good kid, no problems there. And things being chaotic is *more* reason to bring a gun for self-defence.
“It just doesn’t make sense wouldn’t you leave the job to officers instead of being the only man voicing a different opinion in the BLM protest”
Who are you even talking about? Kyle? He was there treating injuries and protecting property from fires with a bunch of other people. He wasn’t voicing any opinions.
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say is odd.
I know many psychopaths that have done nice things lol.. you keep saying self defense that’s cool, especially if the people he killed didn’t even have a gun lol but a normal college student wouldn’t just randomly go to a BLM protest with a big gun & try to do good on the side. it sounds like some mental fantasy he had lol
“especially if the people he killed didn’t even have a gun”
You realise self-defence doesn’t require them to have a weapon, right?
If not, explain to rape victims how the only way they’re allowed to defend themselves is to fistfight their attacker. If they use deadly force, on a rapist or domestic abuser, etc, it’s jail for those murdering bitches. Getting your face bashed in or getting strangled? Don’t you dare pull a weapon or you’re in the wrong. It’s obvious garbage. So if you were there you would have felt comfortable getting curb stomped by Rosenbaum and wouldn’t think to use deadly force?
“but a normal college student wouldn’t just randomly go to a BLM protest with a big gun & try to do good on the side.”
It wasn’t random. The riots of the night before destroyed an entire Car Source dealership by burning it down. The Car Source owner Sahil asked Nick Smith, who worked there and has known the owner’s family for 10 years, to come down to protect the property with a bunch of other people, Kyle included.
“it sounds like some mental fantasy he had”
He had a long history of helping people, he had firefighter training, EMT training, worked as a lifeguard, he went to university to study nursing. It’s precisely because most people are selfish and lazy that Kyle is a better person than them.
Gaige had EMT training too and was down there treating people as well – in illegal possession of a gun – but he’s totally fine to be there?
Really nobody should have been down there, but since they were down there setting fires and destroying things the people defending property had a more valid reason to be there than anyone else.
i know that about self defense i keep saying that because the first guy he killed didn’t really do much and the 2nd guy stomped his face because he thought he was some crazy shooter like a school shooter. like who brings a AR-15. i would think my son is crazy. a pistol cool but that gun could kill up to 30 people..
@molly252 you do not need a “big gun” to kill someone. Please stop using that phrase “big gun”. The 3rd who testified against rittenhouse admitted he pointed his handgun (which he too illegally was carrying) right at rittenhouse’s head before he got shot in the arm. Pistol or AR-15 bullet they both are lethal. Someone swinging a skateboard at someone’s head can be lethal. Also bare fists and chokeholds Can people.
Was rittenhouse in his right mind heading out there with an AR-15? Noble intentions or not hell no. He got off the gun charge vía a technicality (old law barred minors from carrying short barrel rifles in Wisconsin. AR-15 is not short barreled). However I actually wish he got convicted of the gun charge because he shouldn’t of been carrying that as a minor. However it was justice served acquitting on all other charges.
What bothers me the most is how many on the left have tried to drum up sympathy for the so called “heroic” men who attacked rittenhouse. All three had criminal records including Rosenbaum (1st guy) who was convicted of molesting 5 pre teen boys. But the left has this “oh they are all noble comrades because they were rioting for BLM” attitude. It’s disgusting. Makes me want to vomit at that insanity.
The bottom line is if Rittenhouse didn’t shoot back he probably would of been seriously hurt or dead. He clearly did NOT instigate anything that happened. Just carrying a AR-15 and being a white teen doesn’t automatically turn you into a white supremacist active shooter. But that’s the narrative the left has tried to spin and it’s just pathetic and gross.
“the first guy he killed didn’t really do much”
Other than threaten him and others multiple times, set fires, try to start fights, and charge down Kyle while Kyle is obviously try to retreat from him.
…sure sounds totally innocent.
“2nd guy stomped his face because he thought he was some crazy shooter like a school shooter.”
That’s hearsay. Nothing in evidence suggested they though Kyle was dangerous. Gaige had an exchange with Kyle while he was running and stated in his testimony that he didn’t see Kyle as a threat. There is a definition for active shooter and Kyle didn’t meet it, and the crowd demonstrated that they weren’t afraid of him. Furthermore, what the crowd thought was irrelevant to Kyle’s self-defence claim, anyway. by the way, the state knew who that jump kick guy was, they deliberately left him out of the proceedings.
“a pistol cool but that gun could kill up to 30 people”
Firstly, he wasn’t allowed to carry a pistol, he was only allowed to open carry a long gun. Pistols are usually more restricted than long guns.
Secondly, the reason for large clips is to deal with multiple attackers and typical accuracy is about 1 in 3. One shot doesn’t necessarily neutralize a threat, so 30 rounds is reasonable. Typically pistols have 6-12 rounds, realistically you’d expect to stop 2-3 people with that – if Kyle had a revolver, he would have likely run out of ammo and been vulnerable. It’s better to have *more* smaller rounds than to have only a few big rounds to give more discretion about how much damage you do, and Kyle had.223 (the smallest caliber for the AR-15). FYI, Gaige’s Glock had a larger caliber than Kyle’s AR-15. But none of that should be relevant because most importantly is not how many people it can kill, but how few it can kill, which is zero. If you don’t respect the power of a weapon and proceed to charge a person with a firearm, that’s an attack which privileges the victim with self-defense.
Self defense is cool but the fact that he chose that gun is silly. i’m going to look if the shop had insurance because places were already getting destroyed & stolen from so they should of just let things be. Also I don’t know what crowd your talking about but the people that recorded him were terrified from a distance.. that young boy was ready to have fun and shoot that AR-15 oh yeah and protect a place like he’s a cop or his future child was in there lol
"i’m going to look if the shop had insurance because places were already getting destroyed & stolen from so they should of just let things be."
I don't agree that at all that insurance makes *anything* even remotely acceptable. Insurance doesn't magically replace everything, there are things that can never be replaced and certainly nothing is replaced instantly. People have zero right to burn your property. People do have the right to hang out on a property with the biggest gun they can carry with the largest caliber it can carry. If you fuck around and find out then that's 100% on you. Stop making excuses based on the guns. They have every right to those guns, and there are no rights protecting arson.
"Also I don’t know what crowd your talking about but the people that recorded him were terrified from a distance"
I'm talking about the crowd following him and the crowd attacking him. There's no evidence that can conclude that they thought he was an active shooter. There was no testimony suggesting the crowd was "terrified", that's purely speculation from you. They certainly didn't behave like they were terrified.
"that young boy was ready to have fun and shoot that AR-15 oh yeah and protect a place like he’s a cop or his future child was in there"
So just more baseless speculation then? At this point I'm going to call out your "I'm not bias" claim to be bullshit.
@AllThatSweetJazz also do you think insurance carrier will continue to cover business in high risk areas? They will either refuse to insure inner city businesses or charge astronomical premiums (which most businesses won’t be able to afford anymore).
@molly252 also about that “young boy was about to hace fun with the AR-15”. Was he like laughing and smiling like a psychopath?
You know it’s possible to still be a Democrat, want stricter gun control, support BLM and STILL think rittenhouse is not guilty after you take the time to read the FACTs (which you obviously didn’t).
You can’t convict someone of murder because of a have a certain “notion” about them. That’s mob mentality.
Please for yourself and for the sake of our country take a moment and do your research.
Considering just how many crimes were committed by antifa and blm during that time without anyone being charged, the guy who defended common sense going free should be the least that happens.
If he was protecting himself then he's not guilty, But the thing is this day and age I just wouldn't be out there just walking the streets carrying a gun that looks like a rifle but I don't know about guns too much
They demand to defund the police so this guy go on a street with a gun become a police and kill people. Then get away with that.
Moral of story we need police so at least noone kill us in the name of self defence and walk free lol.
American justice has always been a sham. If you are White enough and enough of a gun nut, you can legally murder anyone in "self defence".
What if you were that kid. What you do. I bet you would shot to
It was absolutely the right decision.
As for who should pay the legal bills? Start with the prosecution withheld evidence, and end with every media outlet and politician who tried to slander him, including Joe Biden himself.
Glad he was found not guilty. And yes, the state should be responsible for paying the legal costs.
The verdict itself isn't exactly surprising nor the problem. The problem is the laws the verdict followed. These laws are outdated and insane. They were basically made to mostly just protect violent white sociopaths.
I think it’s great! Kid protected himself and set a example for Americans and let everyone know that defending yourself is not a crime.
Was happy, he was protecting himself.
If it was you!
You would want to be found NOT guilty ALSO.
