I think the prosecution can totally blow it and the defense can absolutely knock it out of the park. I think it can be a totally one-sided case and the jury still comeback with all guilty verdicts.
Honestly, I do not know if I would choose a jury trial these days. Juries can be intimidated. They are regular people, hand-chosen by the lawyers because they think those jurors are dumb as muleshit and can make a verdict go their way. I just did jury duty, they don't look for the best and the brightest, I promise you that.
I don't trust that the jury is fair and impartial. I don't trust that the law will protect them from the threats they are getting. I don't trust that some of the juror's are not potentially politically motivated. So, yeah. This could be the biggest slam dunk in history and the jury still comeback with guilty on all counts.

I’ve examined every bit of video evidence available. That kid showed better trigger discipline, threat identification and accuracy than most law enforcement and military professionals. You couldn’t ask for a more textbook example of self defense.

It was remarkable that under such circumstances a kid with no formal training was able to accurately (only 2 of his shots missed) engage attackers with such precision including 1 with a pistol and walk away unscathed. He conducted himself with poise and tremendous skill despite overwhelming circumstances and 0 support.

I served in the infantry in the Marine Corps and deployed twice. Twice I’ve been to war. Though I’ve never faced such a challenging set of circumstances as he did that night I must be fully honest in saying I don’t think I would have done as well as he did in terms of poise and skill. Through it all he walked away virtually unscathed minus the nice bash he caught with that skateboard from Anthony Huber. Despite the fact Huber had attempted to control the muzzle of Kyle’s rifle, Kyle still shot him through the heart clean and managed to regain enough coordination to engage the next target who had a pistol successfully. Kid is a hero and ought to be given a medal for what he did. He’d make a first class warrior in our armed forces undoubtedly. May Almighty God see fit he be acquitted and protect him.

Not 36 year old deceased Joseph Rosenbaum who can be seen in a video aggressively taunting and accosting Rittenhouse, then is found shot with his red shirt wrapped around his face after attempting to conceal his identity with it. After all, if he had no intent to do wrong, why choose to conceal his identity before attacking Rittenhouse? Not that Rosenbaum was unfamiliar with putting his hands on minors in an unlawful manner. Rosenbaum was charged with 11 counts of child molestation and inappropriate sexual activities around children including anal rape. He was convicted under the plea deal he made with prosecutors. This was not the only crime on his criminal record. At the time of his death he was out of jail on bond for domestic abuse which included battery. He messed with the wrong minor that night. Anthony Huber was a convicted domestic abuser. Who strangled his victim. Gaige Grosskreutz was convicted of a crime involving the use of a handgun. Despite not legally being allowed to own or possess a firearm we see him clearly armed with a pistol and committing yet 2 more crimes that night, possessing that pistol and attacking Rittenhouse. All of those men had one thing in common. They were violent men with previous criminal convictions and were attacking Rittenhouse. Meanwhile Rittenhouse has been charged with crimes and convicted of none as of yet. Rittenhouse was on the run from all 3 of his attackers, 2 of which can be seen actively attacking Rittenhouse.

I know why you don’t like Rittenhouse. You fear men like him who would forcibly stop those intending on committing violent crimes. After all, what if he’d killed you instead while in commission of a violent crime? All criminals and cowards prefer soft targets. My only question for you is how does it feel to live as a coward and fear bodily harm and death from those who would not be victims?
