Your favorite, most agreed with politico…would you vote “yes” to give them totalitarian power?

No one in their right mind would do that.

YET... the leftists insist on growing Gov't, and turning over more and more individual rights to that Gov't! Indeed, even the poster if this Q is in favor of a larger Gov't with even MORE oversight of individuals!

For instance:
The idea the Gov't needs/has the right to monitor my mileage and tax me on that is ludicrous, yet the Democrats love the idea.

Forcing the registration of every gun in the US is another plan of Democrats.

Censoring speech is something that's BEEN going on for years, yet the Democrats still scream about maintaining "free speech" while shutting down every opposing idea - written or stated. Conservative voices are jyst about 100% blocked from colleges, but they'll allow terrorist radicals to come speak.

So if you're TRULY against giving a Gov't totalitarian power, then you'd better be willing to allow opposing ideas to float as well. The next time a Democrat proposes something, consider ALL the consequences of that idea before you put your voice behind it.

Not really except for pet peeves of buffering I would if I had could make buffering illegal and the electronica device that buffers gets sent to The sun on a rocket ship paid for by the corporations that invented that damn fucking electronic device in the first place I would definitely make that happen but that’s a pet peeve I hate buffering and I am ranting at this point.

Now the fact that will never happen and me just sitting here Bedroom bashing my face into the wall when my iPad buffers is my only hope

In my ideal world there would be only one, very carefully selected person in power. subjected to rigorous psychological evaluation, and with no power to be able to change laws on staying in power (tbh I don't know how I would make sure of this :) ) Or maybe up to 10 people maximum.
They can still decide on things. More than that and it is impossible.
And this person should be older than 35 but younger than 65 so we wouldn't end up with another Biden situation.

The concepts of checks and balances, due process, individual rights and rule of law are not ones they're interested in their regime observing.

I would never give absolute power to one person.

And I will never understand folks who do. We have folks here at this forum, who so believe in their political god not only would they give him/her absolute power, they think that everyone else should too.
