Do you see the difference between money and happiness?

I personally dont see the difference between money and happiness.
And before you expend any effort in trying to change my mind, dont bother. I am not asking to change my mind and my mind cannot be changed. Fair enough if it doesn't buy happiness for you. Doesn't mean it won't buy happiness for me.

Of course, money gives people happiness. I would much rather cry in a Porsche than in a Toyota.

I have seen not one person who is happy when they are poor. If homeless people are happy, why are they begging for money? Some poor people struggle to get even one square meal a day. On the other hand, just because someone is rich, does not mean that they are happy either.

They may be, but money can’t always buy everything. They may be struggling with family issues, relationships, mental disorders, etc. So we mustn’t be quick to judge someone by their Instagram posts or how they present themselves to us. It may just be a farce to hide their raw emotions. Materialistic possessions can only get you so much, it may be an indirect tool to achieve happiness, but it certainly cannot solve all your problems.

Can money bring someone back from the dead? Definitely not.

A person can be rich and happy and rich and unhappy, but a person can NEVER be poor and happy. The wistful desire for things will creep into their hearts somehow.

However, in a hypothetical scenario, if I were to choose between being happy riding a bicycle and being miserable driving a Porsche, I’d much rather choose the former than the latter.

Money can give you excess to lots of different things in the world.
So although it's not exactly the money, it is the experiences. The lifestyle the people to which you are surrounded by that can make life that much more sweeter.
