This depends on what caliber of woman you're looking for. If you want a superficial trophy woman who will leave you once the money is gone then yes the chasing money thing works. They don't expect deep connections of intimacy any of those things. They just love to be a part of the facade. If you are actually looking for a meaningful supportive relationship or somebody will be with you through thick and thin then chasing the money is not usually the way to keep such a person. Chasing women could get you killed because if you just lead your whole life by what's in between your legs you'll certainly run into some married woman and a very disgruntled husband with a big shotgun. Or a disease or a trap queen. These are just two extreme positions but between the two of them chasing money might be less dangerous.

My parents run a business together and that comes with it’s own set of struggles. When both parties make their own money in separate ways, that makes it easier to divorce. Marriage should be a legitimate life long commitment under god and if both parties have this belief then the woman being dependant works just fine

That’s the goal of marriage. But sometimes things do change where the marriage no longer works and couple grow in separate ways. Neither person should ever feel stuck in a marriage. Besides, even if we make it difficult to divorce, separation or estrangement is still possible.
