What IF they were like this? You're pretending they aren't already some of the biggest nut jobs around. Or, extremely smart as to how to cripple a country by destroying the country's credibility, losing whatever shreds of autonomy and sovereignty it had, wrecking the military, and spending the citizens into freakin' oblivion!
8.5% (annualized) inflation! HAH! Don't make me laugh (or puke). Beef- 200-240%, Ham - 100-160%- Bacon 200-300% - Yogurt- changes every week I go Aldi - was 33¢ a couple years ago, was 59¢ last week, so that's up 78.8%, cereals at $5.00 + for a 16 ounce box, lemon juice for my tea used to be $1.00 for a quart at the dollar store. Now, it's $2.49 to 3.79 at food stores, while the dollar store is now the "$1.25 store" and the bottle is now a PINT! Jello at $1.69- seriously? Canned pineapple has doubled, as have numerous condiments. Anything I haven't mentioned has gone up by at least 25%. Thank heavens I keep a deep pantry so we can get by. Gasoline up to 250% of the cost a few years ago under President Trump when the US was energy independent. Natural gas up from 29¢/therm to over a dollar, so the gas supply part of your bill is nearly 350% what it used to be. Even on our "budget plan" (which averages costs over a year's time), has risen from $60/month to $101/month. Thank goodness I have a extra tank of propane for the grill! So "progressive" stooges, please quit peeing on our legs and telling us it's just a little rain!

That's another thing. The west coast is parched and water is getting thin. Our family had a 5,000 gallon water tank put in at our desert house. But even 5,000 gallons is nothing when you have drought conditions for years.

That would be almost 2 months for our household- we average 3000 gal/month, 100 a day, and we are fairly low usage in our area- avg is more like 5,000. The (sad) thing about that is that only about 2 gallons a day are for drinking/keeping ourselves hydrated. If someone wanted to push it a bit (as far as water contributing to health, etc.) , add another 6 gal a day for a load of dishes in HE dishwasher. New toilet is 1.6 gal/flush- old one is 5 gal/flush. Rest is for showers, garden, etc. . Washing clothes is a real killer- up to 60 gal per load to wash, rinse down, and rinse. And if the govt mandated "water efficient" washer detects an off balance load, it doesn't beep like our old one to call you to adjust it - oh, no: that would be too easy- it refills with water and tries again! Up to 3 times, it tries again. So much for govt mandated "efficiency".

Water has been "thin" in the west for nearly a decade (that I'm aware of, according to mess, er, mass media), and usage mandate after usage mandate doesn't seem to help.
