If Pilltar were real, I doubt I could ever hope to give him that level of range. In The Gerosha Chronicles, range usually taps out at 60 miles.

Now, due to Desulon's machine and how it works, so long as the wormhole stayed open, Ron could control Pilltar across a range of 400+ years and untold millions of miles of space. But that was one time, in Battle for Metheel. In Vindication, Pilltar's range is once again reduced to 60 miles, requiring Ron Barrin to actually visit Phaeleel if he wants Pilltar in on the action. Hence, why Pillcenary and Strawcenary were sent instead. Strawcenary, because the brain damage that Stephanie was dealing with made her too unstable to pilot Strawberry.

But assuming range weren't an issue in real life, Pilltar is basically a robot shaped like a half-man, half-pill bug, about the size of a Hobbit. Robotic Pill Bug Avatar.

As such, Pilltar is basically a Peter Dinklage-sized Mark 42 Iron Man suit in remote control mode, but with no option to be worn as a suit.

Great for neighborhood watch, the intended design purpose, so as to ensure that the next wannabe Trayvon Martin never accomplishes more than indicting himself by triggering a black box and maybe bruising his fists, but never endangers an actual flesh and blood patroller to the point of lethal self-defense being necessary. That's largely my inspiration behind the idea of Pilltar.

But for actual war? That pushes the upper boundaries of what Pilltar is designed for. Stopping drug-addled teens from picking fights they can't win and getting themselves killed, and preventing corrupts AGs from being able to politicize criminal cases for national division, is a far cry from fighting a war in Eastern Europe to the benefit of either of those countries.

Plus, given what Pilltar could be reverse-engineered into, namely, Stagtar, I wouldn't trust either Russia or Ukraine with access to such a weapon.

Russia partnered economically with China, and we know China can't be trusted. And Ukraine would hand over Pilltar to literal Nazis! There's no way this ends in anything good!

Paddington needs to die. No question about it. And Pooh next. Even if that means someone puts polonium in their orange juice, as if this were CSI Miami! But I wouldn't trust my weapons come to life to not get captured. I also wouldn't trust my reaction time to prevent my weapons from being captured. A lot of laser tag and paintball players that can process rapid movement a lot faster than I can! Even if the machine can move at the speed of my mind, and not at my real physical limitations, I still won't be able to see everything fast enough nor react fast enough to guarantee that the aerosolized rabies Klaus Schwab mob won't steal my toys.

So no. I would insist if Pilltar became real, it be restricted to neighborhood watch use. Of course, defending my patents from the military would be a legal nightmare. If neocon-friendly or globalist-friendly judges don't care about what being in a republic means, they will always invent some excuse to let the military steal my ideas. Worse: when the military industrial complex can't buy you, they imprison you. Militarized organized crime.

Why exactly would they need you when they can pay cheap labor for the same thing? Or even have it automatic. Those drones aren’t cheap by the way.
