Of course not- why would it? Thk whole idea behind governmental democracy is that someone can represent you without BEING you; the whole behind social democracy is that demographic characteristics of a person don't affect their value as a person.

If the court revists US vs Arver (which they should have a century ago, and WOULD have, had Biden not hold them not to), should I object because there ARE women on the court?

One ef the most embarrassing moments of jurisprudence in us history. During WW1, Arver sued the US government on the grounds that battle slavery violated the 13th amendment. The court ruled that it didn't, basically because everyone else was doing it. They specifically claimed that it was a "reciprocal obligation" of citizenship; you have the right to vote, you risk being enslaved. That most of them *didn't* have the right to vote didn't matter. Ever since the 18th amendment was passed, that changed- but the law didn't.
