Most people don't like that Roe v. Wade was overturned. A young woman who had never voted got registered for this election. When asked why she said "my body, my choice", she's unmarried, conservative, and never been pregnant. She is against abortion, but doesn't want someone else deciding whether or not she can choose to be against it.

no. the overturning of Roe v Wade wasn't dictated on feelings, it was dictated on facts. the cowardly thing to do would've been to not overturn Roe v Wade due to fear of losing out on voters.

either way it only proves how feminism has deeply rooted themselves into the minds of naive women whether they be conservative or not. feminism is predatory and preys on the innate primal fears women have i. e. the creepy dangerous man, giving birth to a child of potentially "bad" man, leadership and control issues over life etc.

I'm not surprised that there are non-feminist women who voted just for the sake of spiting abortion given that danger and crimes in the US are through the roof more than we're used to and the possibly of a woman potentially getting raped is higher than ever thanks to stupid political moves such as defunding the police, lower cash bail, early release of violent criminals (due to fear of racism/xenophobia accusations) etc. that has put women's lives at greater risk and these left-wing hypocrites want to present themselves as the solution to the problems they created? I'm curious as how and when an issue is put forth to the Supreme Court.

I know next to nothing about the issue or how it got to the Supreme Court.

As far as I know, its timing could have been pure happenstance, or it could have been orchestrated to occur at a time to steer the mid-term election.

I don't know at this time, but I'll be looking into it.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I do wonder about it.

You appeal a decision at each level and if the higher court agrees to hear it, you get heard. SCOTUS is the highest level. They overturned it now because most of them were appointed for their extreme right wing views.

Thanks, but I'm aware of that much information, although the last half of your second sentence is an opinion that I don't happen to share.
It's the issue of what control there is over the timing of when a case is presented and who made the appeal that I'm interested in.

So you go to court and don't like the decision and appeal it up to SCOTUS if you feel they'll rule in your favor. You're less likely to appeal up to there if you feel they'll rule against you. Those wanting state control over abortion lost at lower levels. They felt that the makeup of the court now was favorable to their argument.

I'm trying to answer your question. I can write an entire essay on any branch of the US government and I actually studied constitutional law in college. That's really what all SCOTUS cases are based in. Is a law a violation of The Constitution? Why is it, or isn't it? What similar laws are allowed and why?

You reason for that choice has nothing to do with the "literal" act of voting. While you're engaging in the basic principle of a democracy by the act of voting, the pristine definition doesn't always translate into the ideas it supposedly represents in action.
