i have my master's in counter terrorism, i have written dozens of research papers on the impacts of victim centered reporting vs the way we do it now. i have experimental data on how terrorism/mass shootings have changed based on how we report on crimes and thus prevent copycat incidents
you will literally never meet a better export on mass shootings than me
In 1718, James Puckle invented and patented what was essentially a machine gun. According to Wikipedia, the Puckle gun “had a pre-loaded cylinder which held 11 charges and could fire 63 shots in seven minutes [9 shots per minute]—this at a time when the standard soldier’s musket could at best be loaded and fired three times per minute.”
Another relatively rapid fire weapon was the Ferguson Rifle invented by British officer, Major Patrick Ferguson. The Ferguson Rifle was a flint lock, but it was breech loading rather than the standard muzzle-loaded rifle. It could fire up to seven rounds per minute, two to three times faster that the muzzle-loading weapons of the day.
The Girandoni air rifle was an airgun designed by Tyrolian inventor Bartholomäus Girandoni circa 1779. The Girandoni air rifle was in service with the Austrian army from 1780 to around 1815. This rifle had a lethal combat range of 125 to 150 yards. It had the advantage of a high rate of fire, no smoke from propellants, and low muzzle report. It had a detachable magazine containing 19 rounds of ammunition

no, just stop reporters from saying the names of shooters on TV, instantly preventing copycat crimes and reducing mass shootings down to nearly zero
C'mon man. Give a more logical and smarter response. 🙄

That’s absolutely not true “back then guns were muskets only firing one round per shot”.
It is true. Could hold only one round at a time.

if it is to require a psychotechnical test, I support it
Nope it’s still in line with a militia. A militia is armed civilians that assist a military
The 2A was made for society's protection.
And included cannons and armed freighters.
I see the argument but that’s more regulatory law than constitutional.
Well I sure don't know the answer. I think it's more super bulling in schools
This should be an easy “yes”
No... lock up the criminals...
or only the crimals will have guns, because they will not obey any law that bans them.
Nope, never.
It already does
