Gun owns what rights would you give up if they could stop criminal's from having guns and lock criminals up for a long time?

Taking away peoples gun rights does nothing most criminals and gang members do not legally purchase guns and no matter what you do guns are and will always be easyily obtained on the streets I have personally bought wepons that were not even available to the gun shop this was a long time ago but not much has changed except now you can build a gun from parts on ebay at least i dont think I have not tried but here where I live they recently made it to where you dont need a permit to purchase handguns and you do not need a concealed wepons liscense either I assume they want everyone to be armed so that when i comes the day they take our guns they will know that they are armed and will kill any armed people who resist one thing they are doing i mean government is they are buying up all the ammo there is very little to almost no ammo avaliable these days

Is it not also selfish to ask a group of people to be punished for other people's actions? More people die from texting and driving than civilian firearm deaths. Should everyone have limited phone and vehicle access because of the actions of a few?

Tell that to the police, game wardens, and every rich person who has armed guards, and every girl who has been abducted, raped, and then murdered after they went out in a jog. Also do t call the police when someone is breaking to your house, because they're just a bunch of criminals who own guns.
