Men tried participating in the " Me Too" movement, but were quickly shut down by the same women simping for Johnny. A lot (not all) of the women are Johnny Depp fans, not fans of advocating for male victims.
I hope that this trial helps men feel comfortable coming forward but I still think male victims are going to continue being overlooked.

And if a men tried doing a march for anything men's rights related, there would be a bunch of feminist protesting it.
"Men can't comment or anything." Which is a lie and/or a bullshit statement. Say that to all the boys and men abused by The Catholic Institution, AT A MINIMUM.
Right? For a while, probably, frankly. But it's still a good first step. I mean, if we're all for true equality here, should the male victims be given the same pedestal/ taken at the same level of gravity?
As they should. Men get abused all the time by women. but are forced to keep it to themselves because of shame, and the feminist that try to silence them in various ways. I hope more guys come forward and speak out against women that know that and take advantage of them
It set a precedent for people sticking their nose into private lives of others whom they don't even know. It set a precedent to allow media exploiting each and every little imperfection or irregularity in our lives.
Abuse can happen to anyone. She also is a disgrace to anyone who has suffered abuse. Which is why sometimes they aren't believed. Really sad but she is out of a lot of money now
I dont know about other countries but where i live women can kick their man ass, really hard. But there are some people, men Who beat their wives not Just inside the house but outside too. And some womens do disrispect their husband infront of people.
Its sad how people have to see two famous people for them to realize that women can be abusive towards men too. It's not like no shit women can be abusive towards men. What about all the other civil court cases before this one?
Yeah I think it did and that’s a good thing. But I also support the #MeToo movement. I think justice should be equal for everyone.

Men for the most part don't want to appear weak. So the likelihood of tons of men suing women for abuse is very low. Most men will play it off or say it is just a misunderstanding or not as bad as you think it is.
I think it definitely helped and it also gives people a good view on how vile and manipulative people can be. Just because all her friends were saying it doesn't mean it actually happened. Being aware of manipulation is always a good thing.

I don't really think anything has changed. It's not like it was a huge controversy or anything, pretty much everyone in the world was on his side.

Nah, it's just cause he's real famous, everyones gonna go right back to not giving a shit for every male rando.

Yes. Men can definitely be the victims of abuse as well…
Totally agree. Besides, who wants to be known as the gender who gets sexually assaulted more? Not me.
I have my doubts, I can only hope. I hate there being a double standard, it's not right.
I hope it opened a lot of people's eyes on the matter. Abuse can come from either side.
i think it first and foremost set a precident for innocent men not to get fucked over by predatory gold diggers...
First of all, anyone who makes false accusations should be prosecuted.
However, it is time to realize that women can be equally as abusive as men.
Yeah. I think women always win the sympathy vote in general and it’s created a climate where they think they can get away with murder
Yes which is unfortunate something as big as this had to happen. Anyone can be abused and frankly people should have been aware of this long ago.
I hope so because I am sick and tired of women like her laughing at us men after they beat us because they know nobody will take our side.
