My girlfriend calls me her guy, but when talking about a movie star she calls him her man. why?

now this isn't a big deal to me I'm not mad about it or anything. But whenever she call me her "guy" it always kind of rubs me the wrong way I don't know why but it does. I never say anything cause its not a big deal but all my girlfriends in the past called me their boy or their man. well the other day my girlfriend was talking about a movie star and she called him her man. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to seem immature but I was a little offended. I was hoping that someone might be able to give me an explanation why she calls me her guy and a movie star her man?
