I think of it like a trained martial artist or soldier, vs. an untrained person. On one hand, you have a person who is trained for violence, but does that make them more violent? My martial arts training means I've thrown more strikes, executed more violent chokes and joint locks than 90% of the population, but the core of my beliefs and training is that I avoid violence whenever possible. My training in violence is ironically in order to reduce harm. A person who has no such training, and gets into a stressful confrontation, is much more likely to freak out and hurt themselves and/or other people around them.

Yes. The murder rate in New York state was 2.9 in 2018, much lower than the city, and much lower than Florida's 5.2. The 2020 figures are 4.2 and 5.9 (and the 2021 figures aren't out yet).

Their lies surprisingly meant that they looked better on the CDC website than the surrounding states on deaths in the previous week, when they were clearly the worst of the lot.

No, that's not what the site listed. Here it is again:

They received NO INFORMATION from 32 law enforcement agencies on all crime statistics; not just murder. Also, those agencies could be anywhere in the state. In the middle of nowhere or in the middle of Manhattan. Or even a combination of both. Neither of us knows what those numbers might be.
So Florida should've reported their Covid numbers differently just to placate your agenda and ego? Are you related to Amber Heard? At least they're reported, and Covid patients in Florida weren't forced to co-exist with non-Covid seniors. We still don't know (and probably never will know) the full extent of the nursing home fiasco that Cuomo created statewide, with New York City being the hardest hit.
Keep trying to distract from the facts, if you like, but far from there being more murders in New York than Florida, Florida's numbers are about half as many again as New York's. (And Florida also has a small percentage of law enforcement agencies not contributing to the reports, but you're not complaining that their numbers are too low, are you?)

Look at that, FBI numbers are under reported by 240 in Florida, just 67 in New York. It's almost as if Florida's less honest about their murders, as well as covid deaths.

I've lived my entire life near New York City, have family in New York City, I work in New York City, and I've visited many areas of Florida more times than I can specifically count. At least two dozen times. There's just no reasonable comparison. Sure there's some beautiful safe rural areas in upstate New York and some very seedy dangerous areas of Florida. Despite all of that, the deadly violence that transpires in some Florida cities is no where near the deadly violence that transpires in New York, with New York City leading the way.
It's amazing the lengths you'll go to to deny the simple fact that more people are murdered in Florida than in New York. You made that claim days ago, but you can't bring yourself to admit you're wrong, can you?

@schittywok I was at a training facility for law enforcement and the guy that runs the place let me fire his Glock so I could see the difference. The S&W definitely had more recoil but I got used to it pretty fast. It seemed to be more accurate as well but maybe because I was not used ot it.
