To be honest I would quickly kick such a questioner in the sack/abdomen and shout they were going to kidnap the child. Before quietly whispering in their ear, "That's what assumption gets you!" and walking away scot free.

No, so many people have mixed race children these days.
I have a son with darker skin tone than mine, and it's annoying when some creepy guy comes up to us and tries to play detective because he too dumb to understand what a mixed child looks like.

No I wouldn't. The kid might have been adopted or the adult is babysitting them for a friend or family member. I would notice if a child looks scared or uncomfortable though wether the child is a different race from the adult or nor.

I wouldn't think anything about it. In the UK it's very common to see a white girl with a POC offspring. Or they could be adopted, who knows?
