Watching the hearings tonight all I hear is the committee's sole duty is to find evidence against Trump. And NOT a non-biased investigation. It reminds me of of criminal system. Our criminal system from police to the District Attorney and even the jury and judge. Do not look for evidence of your innocents but rather your guilt. WE are not innocent until proven guilty. What are your thoughts?

It’s just a kangaroo court to get rid of political opposition and influencers. It’s nothing but a show trial and them televising it is especially shameless, because it’s all being done strictly for the upcoming election. The country is going to shit. Everyone knows the economy is a dumpster fire and no one is going to do anything about the costs of food and gas. So what’s the Democrat platform going to be come November?

OMG, wasn’t it? The ONLY purpose for these hearings was to somehow get Trump either legally ineligible to run again, OR so toxic, he won’t run! You can call 1/06 what ever you want, but a bunch of (mostly) elderly men walking through the capitol, was NOT an insurrection! Only ONE. Person died as a direct result of 1/06, Ashley Babbitt, an unarmed young mother, and US veteran. And they compare it to the civil war! The bloodiest war in US history!

Yes they presented bias facts and the also facts that don’t look good for Trump if he plans to run for re-election.
It's not like they can actually do anything with the evidence they have. They don't have any power. They're airing their case, but it can't do anything. The committee has no judicial power in this case. Besides it's not like we didn't already know that Trump lit the fuse and that it started after his rally on January 6, we knew that. The committee is trying to prove that it wasn't something that just happened on January 6, it was planned since the election results proved that Biden unequivocally won.

I was switching between the fake news and Tucker Carlson. The contrast was amazing. Lots of questions are still unanswered. Also, all the lies were just unbelievable. They kept repeating that 5 cops were killed in the riot and there was a cop who was beat to death with a fire extinguisher. The truth is that no cops were killed during the riot an one cop did die of a stroke later in the day and was not hit with anything , not even a fire extinguisher.
One cop died of suicide Bc of it. Also trumps daughter was forced to tell the truth Bc that’s what court makes u do. It’s a federal law. So u think she lied?

@JohnK123 It is what it is. I work with a guy who had a brain aneurism which is like a giant stroke. He was airlifted to the hospital and just barely made it. He was starting a new job the next day. Was that stress the cause of his attack? Nobody knows for sure. To say anything else is just a guess.
If the FBI had information before 01/06 that things could get ugly. And Trump authorized the National Guard to be used. And Honest Nancy refused. Her reason for turning them down need to be investigated. So that makes her an accessory to any illegal happenings on that day! But that won’t be asked of her. Especially not under oath.

Courts dont decide innocence. They only decide guilty or not guilty. I do agree with you that Prosecutors are overhyped in acquiring “wins” instead of the truth.
And the evidence is already there that it was Trump supporters at the capitol building, so in essence, Trump is on trial.

It's the job of defense attorneys to prove their client's innocence or raise reasonable doubt, not prosecutors. And up to the jury to decide innocence or guilt. How is it you're 53 years old and this ignorant of how the justice system works?

It took a lot for me to watch it. First let me explain I am of no political party and hate them all for their corruption. That said this was so biased fully and completely against Trump it was shocking! There was not even once did they mention anything even neutral about him! It tells me they are that scared of him and what he apparently knows. If they want him gone, why don't they just have Hilary kill him off, she is fantastic at getting rid of people! 😂
