Some of the biggest corporations are setting concrete racial quotas. As many as a half-dozen companies have said they’ve adopted workforce quotas in recent months. These include Wells Fargo & Co., the nation’s third-biggest bank, which said it will increase Black leadership to 12%.

Meanwhile, fashion house Ralph Lauren Corp. said it aims to make 20% of its global leaders people of color, including Black, Asian and Latino workers. Delta Air Lines Inc., where 7% of the top 100 in the organization are Black, will double the percentage of Black officers and directors by 2025.

the performance of companies will go the same way an NBA team would go if they put 70% whites on the team. That would inherently mean not picking the most qualified players. That team will lose every game. The cost of every good and service we buy will be higher and lower quality because of this. It's criminal

I have hear of affirmative action and I have also heard of Title 9 (I believe it is Title 9 that wants women sports athletes to represent the male/female student ratio). I also know that men are far more interested in sports than women. Regardless, just because that is how it is doesn't mean it should be that way. And, if it should that way then what is good for the goose should also be good for the gander.

@SlangSlayer You are absolutely correct. @notwoke error is not recognizing that an individual can be vastly different than the average of his group. That is because there are white players in the NBA, but he fails to take into account that the odds of an individual black play in the NBA is 908% percent higher than an individual white player. Blacks are only 14% of the population of the USA but 56% of the NBA are black players.
