Why do French people like to spread ugly rumors about Americans?

As an American, I grow tired of people accusing us of sitting around eating and getting fat. I believe this rumor has its origins in France, the consumers of the most cheese and bread on Earth. France, inventors of the refrigerator and pasteurization.

The fascists fatties are usually quite nice to our faces. But, behind our backs, they spread nasty lies so that everyone believes that Americans are fat and lazy.

The French spread these rumors to try to make themselves look good, just like they tell everyone they invented the metric system, when everyone knows it was a British guy with a small penis who wanted it to sound numerically impressive.

However I know the Canucks up north like to constantly talk smack about the US because they are nothing more than a bootleg version of the US.

See your chart is misleading. Having been to Germany, France, England, they see dinner as an occasion. It'll last an hour or so. Courses come out at different times.

Us Americans just woof it down to get on to the next thing. And many don't eat healthy anyways.
