It's a step in the right direction. Overturning Roe V Wade, doesn't make abortion illegal, it puts those choices back at the state level.

But when I see people say that ending Roe V Wade, is like the Nazis or like slavery, the Nazis were extremely pro abortion. And those who say unborn babies aren't human are giving the same argument the people who owned slaves used to justify owning black people, or the Nazis used to justify killing Jews.

A government which erodes the rights enjoyed by its population is on the descent to authoritarianism.
Putin's Russia is one example, and Hitler's Germany was another. Kim's North Korea is an example of a country that has descended the whole way and shows no sign of emerging from it. If the USA wishes to regarded as equivalent to those countries, and countless others, then overturning Roe v Wade is just one step in that direction.

Republicans are not pro-personal freedom when viewed from outside the USA. If Trump were still in power Americans' freedoms would have been eroded more and more. But supporters of Trump are blind to this because they believe his facile rhetoric and appreciate his puerile name-calling.

It would bean individual states could pass laws banning abortion. That's all.

It will transfer legislative authority for abortion to the States, where it belonged in 1973.
Many states will liberalize it. Others will not.
