Narcissist's think EVERYONE is flirting with them when they aren't. While a humble person (I don't just mean insecure many narcissist's are insecure) can't even tell when someone is hitting on them. They are hit on all the time and never even seem to catch on.
Narcissist's are ALWAYS searching for other people's approval and fishing for complements and trying to get people to notice them... When they don't get it they get ANGRY. They feel entitled to other peoples attention even total strangers.
People who are humble get embarrassed when people complement them and praise them and they seem to get some complement everywhere they go. (it's cute to say something nice to a woman whose humble and a genuine person and embarrass her a bit, nothing inappropriate though people come on).
It seems that narcissist's are not always bad looking but to look good they have to put tons and tons and tons of effort into themselves. In fact some can be really good looking on the outside. Since they just spend all their time in vanity and working on things.
But when you really see them without being fixed up... ehhhhhhhhh. When you meet them and see their personality it's a disappointment.
Humble people can literally wake up beautiful or handsome. There is nothing wrong with putting effort into oneself at all. But you get my point.
