Republicans did attempt to delay certification of The Electors' votes as a protest against perceived or actual voter fraud as reflected by the movie 2000 Mules and went too far. But the January 6 protest, compared to the rioting after the 2016 election pales by comparison. Mind you, Hillary Clinton tried to do the same thing, which helped precipitate the massive rioting and destruction in 2016.

At this point this is every day politics in the United States. At this point is would be traitorous for the GOP to accept trump lost, they will be betraying there own party. @goaded There was 85 billion dollars of small arms, vehicles, night vision goggles, ammunition, helicopters and shoulder fired weapons. Most was brand new and state of the art. Trump had a cohesive plan to exit from Afghanistan that had milestones that had to be met before they would proceed. It would have made sure all Americans were evacuated first instead of last. He was insistent that nothing be left behind. Biden pulled out in the middle of the night and caused the deaths of 13 American soldiers and put hundreds of Americans in peril, many are still stuck in Afghanistan. There is no way you can put lipstick on this pig no matter what CNN told you.
