Why did USA abandon abortion when their society is clearly in need of it?

Americans hate social norms. Which means abortion is a must for their society to function at least somewhat. To avoid further detroitification USA needs abortions.

They didn't. People need to understand what happened. All the ruling did was say it was not the federal government's jurisdiction to address the issue. They said the federal government does not have the authority to make it legal or illegal either one.

The US government doesn't have the authority to make it legal or illegal in Australia or Japan. It's the same exact thing. They don't have the authority to make it legal or illegal in the states either.

The US did not abandon abortion. The recent SCOTUS decision shifts the power to the states to decide whether abotion should be available and, if so, under what circumstaces.

It didn't abandon abortion. It abandoned central government dictate over abortion which was illegal to begin with. A state is an independent sovereign government, not a subject to a territory it created.

Usually any given culture uses forms of abortion or infanticide. If not they use banning or exclusion of 'wrong' adults.
