I didn’t think this would ever be possible. But considering a insane 21% of generation Z’rs now “identify” as the alphabet people I wonder about this. I didn’t think it was possible for people to be manipulated into changing their dating preferences. But people have been manipulated into bending their sexual preferences.

However I do NOT think 1 out of 5 gen Z’rs are genetically gay/bi or trans. This is social contagion not Mother Nature. Could this get even worse?

You are doing more reaching than Gumby with that Roe vs Wade analogy. That Supreme Court decision doesn’t “outlaw” abortion by the way. If anything the blue states will probably use taxpayer funded money to fly out women from red states to have abortions in their states. Also there are blue “sanctuary cities” being set up in red states.

You know there was time I was convinced that homosexual behavior might be genetic as Mother Natures evolutionary method to keep the population down. Then when I saw how each generation had incrementally skyrocketing rates of alphabet people ending with generation Z saying that 1 out of 5 “identify” as that I changed my mind. This is more environmental influence than genetics.

There is no mammalian species on earth that emulates that insanity.

Now this is mostly about intersectional “identity” benefits however it comes at huge cost. If you decide to transition you are permanently mutilating your body with an irreversible change. But according to the left it’s fine if 4 year olds identify as the oposite gender. We are also supposed to let teenagers take hormone therapy and transition without parental consent right?

Homosexuality is at least a behavior that doesn’t permanently alter your body. But trans is a completely different story.

Anyway there are 3 different topics we can debate here: abortion (which you brought up first), homosexual behavior and gender identity behavior. They are NOT all the same nor “intersectional”. So let’s debate one at a time and let’s keep it on the trans movement (that’s what this question is about to being in with).

At 4 years old, that's when MOST children are proven to have a concept of their own gender. That's the figure you're thinking of. That may mean it's not their assigned gender at birth, or it may mean it is their agab. That's A CONCEPT, not a full understanding of their identity. That's something even adults struggle with, and something that can even change over time.

And no, no one is suggesting we allow children to make serious medical decisions without parental guidance (what's this "you're supposed to" shit? Where are you getting that?). But a legal adult shouldn't have to go through years of bureaucracy to access gender affirming care - keywords: legal adult.

Removing blocks to gender affirming care isn't the same as "proposing" (again, no one does this) children take horomones. The LGBTQ+ community at large would rather that a transchild just not be bullied for wearing a binder or putting on a dress and make up, and using different pronouns.

You don't need HRT to transition, if you don't want it. I know many trans and NB people who don't take HRT and simply dress or do make up to pass and they're alright with that. But for those who suffer heavier dysmorphia, or just those who would be more comfortable, it should be more easily accessible.

And yes, all these things are intersectional. Especially now. Roe vs Wade is the foundation on which those subsequent laws you mentioned are built. With it gone, and SCOTUS on a religious warpath, rights to birth control, legalization of gay sex, and legalization of gay marriage are all at risk.

You cannot say they are not intersectional. They've been deeply tied for generations. Reproductive and sexual rights are deeply tied. They both have to do with bedroom shit.

I really like the euphemism “gender affirming care” you used above. How convenient you that is now called “affirming” vs. “transitioning”. And only in a short amount of time it will be considered bigoted if someone doesn’t refer to it as “affirming” vs. “transitioning” similar to pronoun usage right?

For the record I do believe gender dysphoria exists but it is exceedingly rare medical condition. And yet we have exponential spikes in young people who are identifying as “trans” now. I read a statistic that there was an over 500% in teen girls who were confused about their gender vs 10 years ago.

But that’s all natural and good right? They were born with an alternative gender right? We should start giving them testosterone treatment no questions asked and pretend that has no long term side effects on their body right (despite testosterone treatment being similar to steroids)?

Also don’t get me started on biológical men competing in womens sports. Feminism and the “trans” movement are in a bit of a “Intersectional” pickle on that one.

Gender affirming care is the proper name for it where I live. It encompasses more than just transition surgery, too, since not just trans people get gender affirming care. But they can both be used depending on the patient's preference.

This is what I mean by you make up oppression. You're projecting that you're going to be found bigoted, but you're actually not even doing anything wrong. You're just eager to feel victimized.

Gender dysphoria is relatively rare, yes. Because trans and gender non-conforming (non-binary or genderqueer etc) is also very rare. Most people are cis. So of course the experience of gender dysphoria is rare - the population that encounters it is also rare.

In addition, 1.7% of humans are born intersex - meaning they have a biological sex somewhere along the spectrum. Did you know red heads are 1.3% of the population? So if you've met a natural red head, you've probably also met someone intersex. And if you've met someone intersex, you'll also have interacted with a trans person and you've never even known. But look! You weren't beaten to death in the street for being straight, either! Success!

And you're very right. Trans athletes and feminism are in an intersectional pickle, very correct.

Well, the largest portion of the LGBTQ community is female, and especially bisexual female. Something like 50%+ of the LGBTQ community is just bi female. Though you are correct that the trans community is clearly growing as well.
