Why do Republicans talk so much about self defense and don't realize abortion is literally self defense?

Self-defense is a legal concept that allows an individual to use reasonable force to protect themselves or a third party from personal injury that is inflicted by another individual so long asthe defender has reason to believe that they or the third party are in serious imminent danger.

Unless someone uses a food baster or other means (not their dick) to put semen inside of you or rapes you it was consensual. Even with a condom on he could leace semen inside of you but the chances are not high but are not 0%. Even if the guy gets a vasectomy and the woman gets her tubes tide the chance if her getting pregnant is extremely low but I don't think it is a 0% chance but could be wrong. If you consent to a guy puting his dick inside of your vulva you are allowing the possibility of yourself getting pregnant.

It's not "self-defense" when YOU willingly and voluntarily participated in sex, knowing that it might result in a pregnancy. That would be like Ukraine inviting Putin to come in to their country and then complaining about what he did once he arrived.

It is only self-defense if keeping the baby would kill you. Those cases are very rare. If one of you will die and you choose your life this is self-defense.

Abortion isn’t self defense. Abortion is murder. The unborn child can’t defend itself against a doctor with a knife cutting its arms and legs off and sucking its brains out through a vacuum. Self defense is some dude attacks me with a knife or gun while I’m walking on the street and I defend myself in order to save my life there’s a difference your not going to die if you have to give birth to a child

The only situation that could possibly fit that is abortion in the case of rape, which is a small minority of them. Abortion is primarily used as a form of birth control.

A woman has a way to defend herself against pregnancy. She can say "No". If the person tries to rape her, she can carry a gun for self defense. She can also kick and punch. But that child has absolutely no defense against the aggression of the mother or abortion doctor.
