Nope. See this is the thing with the two party system. One party just sabotages the other, and also anything good that one party does, the effects might not be seen until the next party takes the office. It's a stupid game.

Example:

A: Oh, here's a new policy that will be good for America and make it a better place to live. I'll sign this policy!

A finish the term/job, and now B is put in place. The policy is successful and the economy is booming.

B: "hey everyone, look what a great job I'm doing! The economy is booming!" What's this? A new policy that will benefit me, but hurts America, yeah why not, I'll sign it, I'm selfish.

B leaves office, now C comes in. The new policy has hurt America and the economy is damaged.

C: "So sorry everyone, I'll do what I can to fix things."

Of COURSE we all want the peaceful transfer of power between Presidential Administrations! Except anarchistic assholes, who would delight in seeing everything burn to the ground, unless it was a boat that THEY were currently on board, because they are all cowards who need that “mob mentality” so that they have at least one functioning brain combined between them all! I mean, who would NOT want a peaceful transfer of power?

Yes. And it needs to be more like it's done in working civilian life: "There's your desk, here are your keys, there's your phone, it's been fun - it's on you now, good luck." Although it's tradition, the pomp and ceremony that goes with the transition of power eats up a ridiculous amount of public funds. Have the ceremony in the oval office, have the new president get behind the desk, one camera, talk to the nation, get to work.

It's just a formality. The transfer of power is going to happen either way regardless. It just shows that the previous president isn't an a*hole about it, which apparently was the case with Trump unleashing an angry mob on the capitol for an election where all his closest aids told him there was no fraud.
