Stupid question and false dichotomy. Two mass shootings in Alabama have been prevented by men in their seventies with concealed carry permits. A mass shooting last June in West Virginia was stopped when a woman took her pistol out of her pocketbook and killed the shooter.
How many of these shootings have been committed by people on psychotropic drugs? Maybe that’s the issue we need to deal with.

How do you keep these nuts from getting guns illegally, any more than you can prevent them from getting illegal drugs, fireworks, or anything illegal for that matter? Even if guns are outlawed they will still get them, because they don't care about laws and can go outside of law to obtain what they need. Also with over 200 million guns in the US, getting rid of them would be an impossible task.

Regulate people? No. Parents need to regulate their children better, before they're adults. Make their children go to therapy when it's clear that it's needed.
