Scared, not particularly.

About incels? No.

I'm wary of all crime being on the rise.

Incel crime, specifically? Not really. But I also live in the country where we just jailed the incel to 20 years who ran over ten people in a rental van years ago.

So it's a mixed bag.

Personally, I take martial arts and am very aware of my surroundings anytime I'm out and about. It's the best way for me to manage my anxiety about this. If I can do my best to keep safe, I feel better.

And if I meet an incel irl, I clock them and avoid them to the best of my abilities. But honestly, I think most violent incels would only leave their basements to launch an attack - so being overly afraid isn't doing me any good.
