In a sense yes, plants are able to think by perceiving their environment and making decided changes in order to thrive. But when it comes to whether plants can think, plant thought is not at the level of sentience, or self-awareness, like it is for humans and animals.

Being me a plant lover, I say yes, they think. They listen to you if you speak to them.. if I speak to my basil, he grows better and greener.
Plus, they have some sort of intelligence, since they direct towards sun or, for climbing plants, to trellis fro growing.

Yes, I think that all single celled and multicellular lifeforms can think. It is what is needed to be alive.

But as we have seen with the dumbest of our species, the ability to think does not always lead to wisdom... I would think plants are dumber than most animals. Maybe on par with coral or jellyfish? And I suppose fungi as well, but smarter than bacteria.
