Last November as a present I had monstera. she gave a new leaf lately but it turned black so suddenly and the new leaf dried and died. now two of her leaves turning yellow. I dont understand what she doesn't like. Too much water or too little? Or the soil is not good? Maybe light? What she wants? Help.
Leaves turning yellow is either coz of too much water or too little.
Check if the soil is evenly moist. There shouldn't be waterlogging.
How often and how much are you watering that you yourself can assess. The solid just shouldn't neither be too watery nor dry.
If watering seems fine then see if it's getting enough light. It shouldn't be in a dark place. If not direct sunlight, enough light should be getting to it.
That's the major thing I've witnessed with my plants.
Use a nutrient rich fertilizer as well. But use it just once a month.

This might be typical winter leaf loss. The dry air in winter, fewer hours of light, and cooler temperatures can cause this. It's normal for plants to lose leaves.
It could also be from too much water. Too much water is a far more common problem than not enough water. Too much water causes root rot. These are classic signs of root rot.
If the plant is old, it might be root bound - meaning there are too many roots for the size pot. It can either be re-potted in a larger pot, or you can cut the roots back.
You can try fertilizing, but don't get carried away with it. People tend to over fertilize.Cut the dead leaves out. Cut out any super yellow leaves also - slightly yellow might recover, but usually they don't. Depending on the plant, you might either cut the leaf only, or cut the stem back to the ground. Cutting back dead leaves allows nutrients to get to the places that need it, rather than being wasted on a loss cause.

Are you letting the soil dry between watering i could go on for awhile on this topic where im from we are expereiencing mass tree die off mainly because of the aluminum nano particles they inject into out skys to help block the suns uv c rays from cooking everything "solar radiation management" the aluminum gets into the soil and prevents trees ability to get nutriens from the soil and then starts to die , plants and trees store water in the leafs kind of like a emegency water supply and when it can't get what it needs from the ground it will pull moisture from the leaf then drop it at this point the tree is in survival mode I planted 300 trees last year and 150 shrubs and about 3500 plants like flowers and uv c is killing everything and its only getting worse
