Do you think entire America has newcomers phobia?

I am living in Canada and have lived in usa. when people know that I am a new comer, they just shut down everything. It looks like new comers phobia going on. I even get to fear new people also. It's irony that new comers fear other new comers but it happens. I don't know how to get through this?

I moved around like every year for most of my childhood. Nobody cares. My mom's is from a whole different country. If anything, people find it interesting.
