Are women running after rich men an idea, that mostly men are perpetuating?

Rarely do i see women telling each other to go after rich men or that we must have a certain amount of salary or be able to buy things. Its something i see mostly men keep saying.

It definitely happens, it's just that there aren't enough of these wealthy men for as many women to successfully do it, and even then it's only a relatively small fraction of women that try to do it.
