Why are some women so eager to chase rich men? Don't they realize being in an abusive relationship is worse then being middle class?

I think it is strange how many naive women will go out of their way to date any random stranger that is wealthy and high in status, not caring the rich man might be abusive towards them during their relationship. Most of the time the women are not even attracted to the man visually or socially, and just fake every ounce of attraction towards them for money, and they don't seem to care the man might be violent and dangerous, and do not even investigate to make sure the man is a good person before they date or marry them.

Rich men are rarely violent. Violence is usually something you see more among poor people.
