So basically Mansplaining is when (usually a man hence the name 'Man'splaining) tries to belittle (most of the time woman) by explaining something to her in a condescending way. Also before I get any opinions about this being about my 'Female entitlement' or sum shit I already beat you to it. Lastly, this is just a honest question so please just give me honest answers. Thank you.

Mansplaining is stupid sh*t only retarded feminists say so they don't have to admit how stupid and/or wrong they are about something.

And you ironically (or appropriately) got the definition wrong. Mansplaining" (assuming anyone takes it seriously) is when a man explains something to a woman with the assumption that the woman is ignorant or doesn't know what she's talking about.

The "sexist" implication here is that women are dumb. It has less to do with being condescending or patronizing a woman, and more to do with assuming women are incompetent, as its implied one could "mansplain" with genuine concern to help, although that'd still be considered "sexist" anyway.

And it's BS because if you don't help a woman, it's implied that you're "an MRA red-piller who just wants to see women suffer." And if you do help a woman, it's "mansplaining and benevolent sexism cause women are strong and capable and can help themselves (even though many can't)."

The question/poll is null and void. Voting would be to imply mansplaining is real and that you have done (or not done) it before.

... But if you want an answer, no, I have never had to explain something to a competent and/or intelligent woman before with the assumption that she was too stupid to understand it or figure it out on her own.

The whole idea of this term just seems stupid and a desperate attempt to bash men from a bunch of misandrist feminists.

It's like they just grab random words from the dictionary and put man before them to desperately make it sound as derogatory as possible.

Women are quick to dismiss the shit that men have to go through and will call out men who talk about women's problems, but I doubt that'd be deemed as 'womansplaining', because apparently men are never the victims.

"Mansplaining" -- what word could be more belittling or annoying than would that suggest that it is not merely a man helping you understand something (this is called explaining -- have you ever heard of it?) but that you, a female, are somehow qualified to determine that my expertise is in face a form of egotistical behavior. How wrong you are. Simply because I am not a female who downplays my own intelligence does not mean that I can't blow your mind when it comes to subjects with which I am intimately familiar, like mathematics, philosophy, and politics. I'm not perfect, though, so it's possible. I do have a tendency to over-explain, if it's a subject I'm knowledgeable about, but I don't generally do so in a condescending way, and not just to women. 🤷‍♂️

I've been accused of it before. Mostly with my ex. The term wasn't really popular then but she would say I talked to her like she was stupid, of course that's cause she was stupid, but I made a way bigger deal out of it than I needed to. I've been talked down to the same way a lot myself too. It's aggravating even when it can be helpful.

No. But I used to be a supervisor at one of my old jobs and one of my female crew members loved to falsely accuse me of "mansplaining" anytime I did my job as a supervisor and corrected a mistake of hers. Now, whenever I hear the world "mansplaining", it just goes in one ear and out the other. A lot of the time, it's just a woman assuming he's talking down to her because he is a man and she is a woman, with no real proof.

Mansplaining is nothing but a thought terminating cliché. Literally any criticism of women regardless of how valid the criticism is falls under this social use of the term. This is one of the causes of the stereotype that women are afraid of being held accountable. I bet you right now, this very comment will be labelled mansplaining.
