Do you believe if you have paid Social Security tax you entire working life you earned the right to collect Social Security payment when you retire?

In other questions, I referred to Social Security as a Ponzi scheme and an unfunded liability. In fact it is neither as I will explain in an update.

@AviatorTom @joeldalton Social Security is NOT an “earned right.” In the 1960 case of Fleming v. Nestor, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that workers have no legally binding contractual rights to Social Security, and that those benefits can be cut or even eliminated at any time.

Social Security is just another tax. Since congress has no obligation to make social security payments, they have no liability. Without a liability, Social Security cannot be unfunded nor can it be a Ponzi scheme.
