With the exception of African slaves, is everybody throughout the North American Colonies of British Isles descent?

By North American Colonies, I mean from Florida (initially Spanish but later British) to Newfoundland to Alaska and down to California (also owned by Spain, but the British claimed it).

English, Scottish, Welsh and Irish are all the same people and fought in the same army. These people make up the demographics of the North American Colonies.

Although the "Germans" (Hessians as they're often called) and Dutch (whom founded New York but we gladly stole it from them) were already in the Colonies in moderation, and the Irish have always been British... where the bloody hell did these bloody Italians/Scandinavians/Russians/Jews/Minorities come from?

Nope, immigrants from all european countries settled in North America, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portugese, Italians, ... As well as Asians, espacially Chinese who build the Railroads.
And don't forget the natives.

No, not at all. My ancestors came from Germany, The Netherlands in addition to Ireland and England in the British Isles. I personally know several people whose ancestors or themselves came from South America (Colombia and Brazil), others from the Orient (China, Japan, Philippines), and still others from continental Europe (Italy, Germany, France, Poland, Spain, Russia).

Of course not. What a foolish question. There have been five centuries of migration, immigration and human trafficking. The result is millions of people from all over the world with the single most diverse ancestry and culture on the planet.

You DO realise that Hawaii (which is part of America too, is it not?) was founded by the British; Captain James Cook, heard of him? The local flag even has a Union Jack on it.

1) It’s not a British colony now.
2) It never was.
3) While Hawaii was an independent kingdom, Kamehameha the Great designed the flag incorporating elements of the British, American and French flags.
4) You asked if everyone was of British descent. Obviously, the millions of Native Americans and 400,000 Hawaiians who were here before European “discovery” were not.
5) The late Senator Daniel Inouye, when speaking before the British Parliament, was asked if he had any English blood in him answered, “Yeah, my grandfather ate Captain Cook.”
