She's an "environmentalist" who flies around the world on private planes, spends weekends on mega yachts, and generally uses more energy in a year than most people will use in a lifetime. She doesn't care about the real world effects of her ideas because, as a wealthy and privileged elite, she will never have to suffer under them.

She is the equivalent of a party goer in Panem (in the Hunger Games) who decries the lack of sophistication in "the districts" as she gorges herself on food, then drinks the ipicac so she can throw it up and eat some more. She cares nothing about the people starving and dying to provide her lifestyle, or the suffering and death her agenda will cause, because the parties in the capital are a terrific distraction when she's not out crusading.

Of course, it's all behavior learned from her Marxist parents - your typical intellectuals who have never done a a day of real work and have no idea about the real world.

Second, I definitely know about her parents. They are "environmental" Marxists.

Third, she's drawn attention to a problem that people have been paying attention to for decades - and tens or hundreds of thousands of people are working on REAL solutions about as their everyday job. She's done NOTHING but draw attention and pushed an over-simplified "solution" that would destroy the modern world if implemented, and result in billions of deaths. As for your complaints about "impractical solutions", you should have thought about that 30 years ago when the solutions were pretty simple. Just because you failed to solve a problem back then does not mean it gets any easier today.
