Just overexposure probably. People just hate on celebrities once they see them enough times, or someone will, anyway. For whatever reason some people like to be contrarian, if everybody loves something, they need to hate it. I’ve never seen any of her work, only a couple interview clips, but she seems chill. I thought everyone went a little overboard with her looks, she’s certainly attractive but in the realm of celebrities she doesn’t particularly move the needle for me, but that’s just me. There were just a few years there were she was everybody and their uncle’s celebrity crush, so I got a little sick of hearing it, just for unoriginality’s sake, haha. Never had any issue with her herself though, I don’t even really know much about her.
I don't think people dislike her per se, I think people dislike the fact that she is quite unremarkable but keeps being shoved down their throats all the time like she is some kind of a hot shit.
She is the embodiment of an average Jane that managed to break through.
People feel less of a disconnect with her than they feel with other female celebrities, perhaps the other celebrities look better, or they have been building their fame up more gradually.
Lawrence makes regular people feel more bitter about her celebrity status because she is a person who feels more like THEM.
"Well why is she famous? She isn't even that great.".
Her personality is bitchy and she's unabashedly self-serving and I find her immature.
I wouldn't be friends with her irl. She seems to take herself too seriously.
Blake Lively on the other hand, esp with Ryan Reynolds, my kinda gal. Or Meryl Streep. I just went from one end to the other...
I find her grating spoiled snotty arrogant and very unfunny, whilst trying while to come across as down to earth and good humored..
Really No different than most of Hollywood though.. so yeah I don't know why she gets more hate in particular 🧐🤷♀️

I don’t have a problem with her as an actress or how “in” she was, but I found her personality obnoxious. It’s nice that she doesn’t want people to feel pressured by unrealistic expectations from the media. But her whole “I’m so chill and normal, I burp and eat pizza and embarrass myself. Is everyone noticing what a regular, down-to-earth girl I am?” routine got annoying.
They probably didn't like the over-exposure. A few years back, she was on just about every magazine cover, and she was in one movie after another. You don't hear much about her lately. Personally, I always liked her. She jokes around, and can be such a klutz sometimes, but she doesn't care.
Wasn't she the one that let her little dog run around crazy on a plane? She seems full of herself even though she isn't all that pretty, educated, or a good actress. She might be better than all of these things and I have just been overexposed to negative press. I hate that stupid fragrance commercial, but it's better than depp's.
I haven't seen anything from her where I would call her a great actress, but I don't have an issue with her.
Why wouldn’t you like her. The ones that probably do she’s built a huge fan base from all the stuff she’s been in. The people who are fans of the tv shows will probably automatically like anything she does.
I love her, i do think she needs to be a little more professional sometimes, but everyone has their quirks

I've heard she's a stuck up bitch. I don't know if that's true, in interviews she always comes across as quirky and funny. I don't like that she had cosmetic surgery but that is the norm in Hollywood.
its just that she is sorta overrated, so is cardi B, she's extremly overrated.
I think everyone started hating her because she sat on a "sacred" rock and "disrespected" the culture. It's pretty wack.
I like her a lot, and really liked her acting in American Hustle.
She is an Oscar winner, and i don't overrate her. She is only 29 yet, and still has many good years in her.
I never saw The Hunger Games. I suppose I don't really have an opinion on her, personally.
