Imagine if our society went completely back to the style of the wild west and by this I mean if there were absolutely no gun laws and you can shoot anyone for any reason given.

Imagine if a guy bigger and taller than you wanted to tough you up or intimate you or harm you and you decide yo shoot him and you're both in a public place or even at a store or otherwise, what exactly would be the problem with that?

Don't you wish you can shoot someone if they make you feel physically or verbally threatened or intimidated or tries to square up on you? Why would that be a problem exactly?

Sure Hollywood and "westerns" glamourized it. But the reality is that it was basically thievery and injustice galore. You were killed by the sheriff if you shot someone without good cause, or if they were unarmed. You were also likely to be killed by your own gun as gun quality was very poor and they were prone to injure and maim.

There was the bigger possibility you would be wolf packed by a posse if you fucked with the wrong gang.

It has never been a thing, in recorded human history, that anyone could just kill another with no consequence. The only real exception is if you have enough perceived power that others can not punish you. That remains the same today.

The notion of something such as anarchy is for that reason not reliant on no consequences but instead an understanding of who and where the consequences originate.

I believe your no-consequence dream is impossible but even were it not, highly undesirable.

If the law of any place fails a regression back is logical. That would give you your wild west, but shooting a stranger who looked at you funny? That's video games and hollywood. I like both, but really, not close to real life.

Well bigger men usually engage in violent aggressive behaviors and tend to square up against guys smaller than them. Ironically in the usa it's usually smaller bodied guys who carry pistols with them because American men with muscles and fat tend to act violently
