I'm against discrimination being actively enforced by a group or institution, but this doesn't mean people have no right to decide whatever's best for them. Single mothers, in many different ways, scare off men in the dating scene. I know it's unfair to her, but it is what it is. If she can manage her situation and make herself more appealing to a possible partner, and if there's change at a legal level to not make it a gamble to the man, then things might change in the future.

What did you mean by discrimination? Are tou referring to men not wanting to date single moms? That's their right. There's many valid reasons someone wouldn't went to date a single parent.

You don't know people's background and what they been through and what led to them being a single parent.
