How do you handle ROBO callers when they call you?

If I have the time and to have fun, I try to get a live person on the line. Usually it is some guy who has an obvious Indian accent and he claims his name is "Richard" or "Paul." I ask him if his grandmothr knows what he does for a living? Does his grandmother know that he is a thief and a criminal, is she proud of her grandson the scam artist. They usually hang up on me.

So my job allows for me to have a lot of time off during the week. If the caller gets me on one of my days off and in the right mood, I will call whatever number they give me and do my best to waste as much of their time as possible. I will then continue to call back when they hang up on me.

I have even gotten to the point where they just start swearing at me when they answer, then eventually the stop answering me.

When I had an answering machine, it also told me the number and name of the caller. If I didn't recognize either, I didn't answer. If the message ended up being someone I know, I'd pick up. Otherwise, I just don't answer. They can leave a message. If they can't/don't/won't, it must not have been anything important and I figure I'm not missing anything. When I playback, later and find it's nothing I want to deal with or nobody I know and nothing important, it gets deleted!

Now, I don't even HAVE a phone!! Well, there's my aunt's cell but, I never have it on more than 5:00 a day, I'm lucky if I get 2 calls a week and it refuses to let me answer them, anyway so, there's not much I can do about it, as far as I know! Nobody loves me, nobody cares about me so, why should I keep the phone on? I don't know how to do anything with it except make calls, check the weather and respond to FB notices. I do the FB shit on the computer and it only takes me a few minutes a day!

If it's a ph# I don't recognize, I silence the ringer and ignore it. If they leave a voice mail, I delete it.
If I do answer a sales call or solicitor, I politely interrupt them right away and ask them to remove me from their call list.
When it's a real person, I'm polite because their life is hard enough. I did cold calling for different jobs before and it sucks.
