I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, but I will answer "Withheld" because 9 times out of 10, it's the police. Where I used to volunteer, I dealt with situations that frequently required law enforcement involvement. Once, it was a call from law enforcement regarding an car accident involving someone I knew. My phone may not work the same as others, but mine identifies numbers as "Out-of-State" or simply "Potential Spam". Hopefully that's helpful!
unless i'm expecting a call from a number i won't recognise, nope! they'll leave a voice mail if its important
I don't waste my time getting interrupted by numbers from people or bots that I don't know. And if it's someone I do know, calling from another number, they all know to leave voicemail or text me, and I'll get back to them.
hell no. but as important as not answering is not rejecting the call either. just let it ring and never answer. don't give them a cue that this number is actively used.

I don’t even answer phone calls from contacts saved on my phone. I don’t answer private or unknown numbers. I feel like they bombard me with something.
absolutely no way and if its an honest company they will leave a message... in the uk it is not against any law for either a person or business to call you from a made up number on your end looking like a mobile is the most common, i just ignore them...
If I am near a computer, I'll try to search the number real quick, which 99% of the time confirms I shouldn't answer. If I can't search, I just bump that 99% up to 100.
I don't answer suspicious calls cause I've been targeted by a mentally ill bully with a personal vendetta against me. It was somebody I met 19 years ago that I gave my phone number too. I blocked him 15 years ago on my cell phone but he retained my home phone number all these years without my permission.
No if I do not recognise the number I will not answer it. Spam alert works fairly well on my phone as well.
My wife and I very seldom will answer a 8— number or our old area code number, we just answer our new area codes number. So we do not answer an unrecognized number, if is important they can leave a messsage.
i have the opposite, you have to enter a code to be able to ring my phone
Nope. There are simply too many scams anymore these days. If it's imperative they speak to me they can leave a voice-mail and I'll decide how important it is.
Nope. I have unknown numbers automatically blocked. I was getting tired of all the scam calls.
I ignore them and block and report to my provider as spam
Anyone who I converse/connect with will have a special ring tone, based on whether family, client or friend. No special tone? Probably won't answer.
Outside of work hours, I have my phone turned off.
On the mobile no, but the house phone I pickup always because I don't have call screening.
no never do unless i'm expecting a call where i dont know the number
i block them , i don't want fake waste time.
Not usually. Now they can record your voice and use it for identification, which is why I don't set that up on any accounts.
😱 I didn't think of that
During business hours, yes, because a lot of clients block their private cell numbers. Outside of 8:00AM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday they go to voicemail
I don’t really answer that much unless I recognize the phone number
Nope. If it's important they can leave a message
Nope, most of the time it is spam anyway
nope. I figure it is a junk phone call.
They can leave a message
