Overall I believe social media is a seductive addiction for young women. Whether they admit it or not most of them deeply crave attention. Social media is a cheap sugar method to get it. They can also filter, use angles and glamour shots.

But it’s a hollow high though. Large percentages of young women are reporting depression and social media is a major factor.

I would not ban it for everyone else... if they want to either make a good use of it, or waste their time on it, that should be their choice and it actually is...

I stopped using it entirely for many reasons,

Selling personal info to advertisers. Fake accounts and groups attempting to sway political parties. One sided moderation that favours and pushes a false narrative.

Mostly, I don’t need someone I went to highschool with that I never actually talked to adding and commenting on my photos or opinions. I never talked to you back then why the fuck would I want to now.

Depends on which kind. Every Kind of social Media Like insta, Twitter and Tictock Sure as hell they should be banned. YouTube is a Video platform

Nah. There's no reason that I need to. The only other social media I use aside from GAG is logging on to my FB for 15 minutes a day. Social media doesn't control my life.
