Why the double standard?

If a Woman who is 32 years old works in Fast Food She is considered a Strong Independent Woman but if a Man who is 32 works in Fast food he is considered a broke ass loser.

It has been a long time since I worked fast food, did other things after that. There are jerks who think they are better than othérs, personally I can applaud a 32 year old Man or Woman who are working on fast food mainly because Managers and Customers can be assholes and it takes a special skill just to put up with that. It is a skill that no community college will give a degree or certificate for. A person has the ability to be strong through all that drama or they don't.

No doubt. I worked for a guy at 16-18 at a Lowes Home Improvement who just retired from there at 45. Assistant Manager a Bojangles right now... soon to be manager. He's half crazy... ;-)

@guy13 I was a Manager at Carl's Jr for a while, I then found a job at King Soopers and I made more money at King Soopers as non management than as a Manager at Carl's Jr. I retired from King Soopers and loving it. I personally can applaud anyone working fast food whethér they are 16 or 36.

How long have you been in Management at KFC? as I have said in other replies I applaud anybody at any age who works in Fast Food because as a prior Manager of Carl's Jr, and a Retired Retail Worker I know it takes a special skill to put up with Asshole Customers and some Asshole Managers (No I am not calling You an asshole, Lol) but seriously I applaud You because I know that You have the type of job that should be considered essential and You deserve much more pay than You get now

You made a good point. I give anyone working in Fast Food credit because it takes a special skill to deal with some asshole customers and asshole managers. This is a skill that You don't learn in a Community College.
