People care about what others people do, say is because at the end of the day we as human beings are responsible for others. Because we only have ourselves to blame for how our society and world turns out. People judge not just for potential relationships but for safety reasons. If someone looks like a whore, we may not want to be around that person. Same if its a criminal or someone bad. The same can be said for the opposite. So in short what you wear, say, and do matters because its how you show who you are as a person, what you believe in and why. It's basically like art, art has few words but you can see the detail in it. Rather it was done by someone who truly cared and enjoyed their work vs someone who didn't. That's what we are, A piece of art.
