Chivalry does not mean extending a hand or special rights/privileges to the female sex alone. Chivalry is extending a hand to anyone in need of it - regardless of social class, gender or age. Chivalrous men put others before themselves and guard their honour with their lives. The nobility believed that losing one’s honour is worse than death. Chivalry was established to keep medieval knights in check and to set ground rules to govern their behaviour. The word itself has its root from Latin - caballarius, meaning horseman. Knights were obliged to follow their code of chivalry that includes values of honour, valour and courtesy etc.

Probably would include not calling them females outside of scentific settings.

But no, not at all. Technically chivalry had very little to do with what it does today when it first appeared. But even modern chivalry is basically just being respectful and acting with good principles and a bit of honor.

Chivalry is one of the main things that attracted me to my partner, if you are not opening the door I don’t want it.

No it’s manners as a core value, superficial would be a man making a certain amount of money.

Anyone can decide to hold a door open. Not many people can just decide to make money

What Effably said. In summary, these days it pretty much just means having manners.

It's not about rights. It's about being masculine and treating women as feminine beings. Most women in majority of today's world don't deserve it though. It was great in the past.

No, it does not, they get no special rights and privileges, especially as they are claiming 'equality'.
A chivalrous man is polite, honest, fair, and kind, but will stand his ground and deal with any problems that comes his way

In theory, no. A lot of guys seem to behave that way though.

Depends upon your definition/perception of the "value."
Those who believe it does are a bit out of touch with reality.
