The worst thing would be selling weapons to Ukraine instead of seeking peace. I think The US is playing a very delicate game by supplying and training Ukrainians in a war against a nuclear power. Peace should be the most important and first option.
Also the chips act is basically subsidizing an industry that had made themselves less competitive and able to deal with any kind of shortage. Chip manufacturers across the US were using revenue to buy back stocks and help the stock price while shutting down plants and laying off employees. So arguing to fund them despite their own stupidity is not something I would applaud. Similarly the presidential emergency board to mediate between the railroad carriers and the unions made recommendations that will almost certainly guarantee a strike. So the entire economy will be looking forward to that here later in the fall. Not really a democrat caused problem but certainly one that could have been taken more seriously by the administration and more effectively dealt with.
Great talking points, but most of what you list as benefits will never happen. Lower energy bills? I guess you don't consider gasoline "energy". Lower health care costs? You mean like the ACA was supposed to lower costs? Protects those making $400k or less? We'll see who ends up getting audited by the new IRS enforcement initiative. The rich tend to find a way around regulations and the middle class ends up paying the price. We'll see if this is any different.
The Democrats are taking way too long with this Jan 6 Trump treason thing. I think they're stretching it long just to get more votes in the election. LOCK HIM UP already!
The worst thing was opening the southern border. The fallout from all the drugs will plague America for years to come and importing a permanent welfare class will saddle taxpayers with crushing taxes forever.
by the way. there's no such thing as "free vaccines " or "lower costs of xyz". Country has no money on its own, it can only give you a money of someone else.
I'd give you the answer but not only would you, as a republican, not like it, but, id also likely get removed for "being offensive" which is funny because i've already reported this question for "being offensive"
@goaded Do we really need 87,000 additional IRS agents to tackle just a couple of rich guys? I'm not so sure that a couple of yuppies are their only target.
Apparently, yes, you do, although it's not just "a couple of rich guys". The instruction is to focus on people earning over $400,000 a year, which would be a few million people.
And, as a whole, the bill will reduce the deficit.
This would be when they went after tax-exempt organisations that were obviously engaging in politics. The fact that there were more right-wing groups doing that than left-wing doesn't mean the IRS were "going after political opponents", it meant they were enforcing the law. The IRS is still being run by a Trump appointee, by the way.
@goaded So? They were tax exempt right? Why would they go after those unless they were not being honest about the tax exemption (which I wouldn't put it past them)?
@snakeyes7 - The two FBI chiefs Trump fired mysteriously got ripped to shreds by the IRS under Trump. There's an investigation going on into Trump's weaponizing the IRS. Add that to the list.
Do you actually believe the mythical world the left propagandize? It's sad really that people are still so butt hurt over an election that happened 7 year's ago. that they bring up an ex president as if he's living rent free in your head.
Too many to list, democracy, whoever believes we live in democracy doesn't have a good grasp on reality. Democracy is just a tool to fool us but we are nowhere near freedom or democracy.

Anonymous sucking off the worst president we've had since Jimmy Carter, you should be ashamed of yourself!

For a bull called the "inflation reduction act", it sure costed the taxpayer a lot of money and will continue to take more out of our pockets.
It will take more money out of rich people's pockets, especially the ones who evade taxes.

@goaded The IRS has been caught going after political opponents before, what makes you think they are not doing the same thing now?

Ok sure. My point is the idea that the IRS has been weaponized against political opponents isn't new.

They have abused the power of government to go after their political rivals.

There’s way to many to list, but that picture is hilarious! @notwoke
I thought this was going to be a retaliatory post by a republican, didn’t realize it was the same person. I love this lmaoo
C, because it is full of grift for rich friends of the party and is highly inflationary, contrary to its name.
I miss having a cult leader rule my nation with a clowny & sweaty fervor. :(

I wish you people would wake up and see politicians as out of touch and don't care about you or anyone else. Especially democrats given their history
Created the worst inflation in 50 years?
Are an actual raving mad death cult in constant purity spiral?
Brought violent crime up to 70's rates?
Demonstrate to everyone why you should not vote for democrats and how radical they are.
