Imagine this fictional scanerio:
Tommy is the eldest child of his family. He just graduated high school and is heading off to college.
Recently, his family faced hardship and is barely getting by. Tommy needs books for his classes, but cannot produce the funds himself to buy them. Tommy's dad, Phil, pulled his son aside. "Tommy, you know our family is really tight right now, but I know you need these books to get through your schoolwork, so I saved up just enough so you can get them. Son, remember we are proud of you!" Tommy accepts the money and thanks his dad.
Meanwhile, while Tommy is running an errand at the superstore, he spots a new game console that he has desired since it was announced earlier that year. Tommy just remembered his dad gave him money moments ago. "Hmmm... should I really?", he asks himself. Tommy's excitement grew while he thought more and more about the fun he and his friends could have in his dorm. Tommy caves, and instead of using the money for books, he spends it on the new gaming system.
Tommy returns to his dad and asks for more money. His dad replies, "Son, I thought I already gave you all the funds needed to buy your books." Tommy then explains to his dad that he bought something he really wanted instead. His dad was enraged. He tries to explain to his dad that video games are "educational" because they train his brain to "respond quickly" and "think critically".
... now, do you expect Tommy's dad to fork over more money?

For the same reason most people don't take accountability for their stupid behavior. Ego and immaturity. Or insecurity, but I think that counts as ego. I'm not psychologist.
I have noticed left wing people being worse about it than others, but that's not really something I can properly quantify. It can just be that I'm exposed to them more than others. Could be the same for you too.
Let's correlate this story to the FEMA fund scandal. Lefties want to pin the blame of Republicans not passing legislation to grant more funds to FEMA, but the dems used a large chunk of the funds they already had to fund illegal aliens.
This happens constantly. Just look at what our gov did recently with Medicare. They borrowed money from it for electric vehicle subsidies, they dramatically raised rates, then borrowed more money to delay the rate raises until after the elections. This is business as usual for these people.
Their excuse may have been, "well, it is for medical purposes. It reduces carbon emissions, so therefore, it improves the air quality, and in return, improves the respiratory functions. So ultimately, it is for healthcare." I learned about logical fallacies in high school. One particular is called "slippery slope."
Logical fallacies are just a guidebook for politicians
That is fuck all to do with democrats, and your story is equally as stupid and unrealistic.
Seems you've got a twisted narrative about democrats stuck up your ass, and can't seem to think properly because of it.
For the same reason Republicans don't
I am actually a little mixed on that. Where I live in TN, our fire departments and EMS are privatized in the unincorporated parts of the county, some of which are operated by for-profit Rural/Metro and AMR. I am not a fan of that at all. I believe, however, power should rest more in the states than in the federal government.
