+1 yI think it's ridiculous and a slap in the face to people who have gender dysphoria or whatever it's called.
For me, if you're born a male, you're a male, regardless of whether or not you transition - how you feel inside is irrelevant to who or what you actually are, like you can call yourself whatever you want, but don't expect everyone else to jump on board.
Whilst I don't agree with the whole trans thing in general, I do feel sorry for them, because I can't imagine how awful it must feel for some growing up feeling like they're born in the wrong body.
Forcing it upon a child is wrong, but once you're an adult or at least 16, do what you want, transition, just be honest about it in the dating world, because not everyone wants to date someone who's transgender.
All the above being said, I'm NOT going to treat someone like shit for being transgender, because it doesn't stop them from being a decent person.

+1 yI'm non-binary myself, and I love meeting other enbies. I've actually found out as I've come out that many of my friends are non-binary - and I'm excited to make even more enby friends.

May I ask when did you find out you were non binary?
- +1 y
Recently. I was also a late bloomer when it came to figuring out I was bisexual.
I grew up Roman Catholic and with homophobic parents, so it took until I was out from their influence to feel safe enough to explore my identity. - +1 y
Everyone said you would be delusional and self-absorbed, but you seem none of those. Maybe I should start to think for myself... Maybe all those people are on the wrong side of history.
In all seriousness I'm glad you didn't go anon. I'm proud of you for being who you are. - +1 y
@242plusInfinity
Hey, thank you. I appreciate that you're also being honest. It's precisely for folks like you that I don't post anon when discussing my LGBTQ+ identity.
Gender and sexuality were things I really didn't get an education on early enough to understand it when I was going through my growth. It's why it took me until my adult years, I think, and why I'm passionate about young kids having positive LGBTQ+ role models and visibility.
It's hard to understand how sexuality and gender relate to ourselves if they're surrounded by social stigma and judgement.
If you like, feel free to DM me with other questions. I'm happy to help where I can, and happy to refer you to resources if I can't. - +1 y
Recently a lot of celebrities came out as non-binary. Do you think some of them are taking advantage of this topic for self promotion or do you believe they're going through the same as you?
- +1 y
It's probably just safer now to come out. It would've been career ending earlier, or dangerous. There's still a lot of homocidal homophobes out there, unfortunately.
I also think it's a matter of a growing understanding of gender, sexuality, and personal expression. There's a lot of information that is just new or only now gaining prominence. For me, learning about all this helped me finally understand my own feelings.
I don't really see why celebrities might pretend to be non-binary. They're already famous, lol. If they just wanted more attention, they could just blast their dumb on social media like Kim Kardashian. Or make a reality TV show. There's easier ways, is my point, than pretending to be something they're not.
+1 yI don't care (its their life not any of my business) 🤷🏾♀️

+1 yDelusional and moronic... Saying I'm "non binary" and whatever bs identification they come up with literally kills logic and common sense, you could think you're the single greatest social outcast in history, no one understands you can't relate to anyone, you're still either a man or a woman that's a biological fact, I don't hate them I'll just think they're ridiculous
20 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I still respect them and treat them as human beings, and I let them live their life. I just don’t agree with their idea.

+1 yFew people know the binary system. It counts like this: 1, 10, 11, 100, 101, 110, 111, 1000, …. If those who don’t understand it (I blame them not), it ain’t too hard to understand non-binary Earthlings. If those people don’t see themselves as either man nor woman, boy nor girl, bloke nor lass, fine by me. By the way, the 100 non-binary people I know are way nicer than many binary people. Let them live.

Except they won’t let us live!
I have to see their goddamn flags every fucking place I go. Pizza places. Coffee shops. Gas stations. Grocery stores.
But they just want to be left alone. Fuck off. - +1 y
@Agagagagaga my folks won’t let me live. No temples, no friends, no going out, no fasting, no praying, no getting a job, no holidays, I’ve to eat until I get sick, no having peace with quirkinesses, whatever. The non-binaries ain’t like that. Their flags are way groovier than Stars and Stripes, which is responsible for the deaths of millions of people. Some don’t mention that they’re non-binary until they get miscalled by a gender.

I've never met one IRL, so I'm starting to think they are only on the Internet or in America.

+1 yI don't know a single person that identifies as that, I honestly don't know what that is. I don't give a shit about whatever they title themselves. Either I like the person or I don't. I don't need no their preferences.
00 Reply648 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Okay, just don't be one of those weirdos who be like saying they're something else at night and non binary in the morning. Wtf, that's bullshit and gonna make me think i'm dealing with a nut

Yes.

This question was for people who identify themselves as men and women.
- +1 y
Apparently non-binary identify as both.
+1 yNot interested in them. You are either a man or a woman. There is no in-between, no combination, and no neither.

None of the non-binaries I’ve met seek attention.
- +1 y
@HippieVeganJewslim how do you know that for a fact though because even if you know those people you aren't in their minds, you can't see their true thoughts and feelings?
- +1 y
@Topaz1979 how can they seek attention only in their mind? If it’s only in their mind, it should not bother anyone, apart from Legilimenses.
